Not only is healthcare expensive in the USA, it's also set up to fail those who need medical devices by putting arbitrary limits on them. Then medical device companies willingly choose to become impossible to contact for emergencies. For example my wife needs a CPAP machine. We've already paid the original $70 for the machine and are paying $17 a month until the whole thing is paid off. However, within the first 6 weeks if you don't use it enough the medical company will take it back because the insurance will no longer pay due to failing the trial period. YOU DONT GET THE MONEY BACK IF YOU FAIL EITHER!! Now this trial period isn't hard to pass unless you have aerophagia that you only learned AFTER you started the treatment!! LIKE MOST PEOPLE LEARN AFTER THE FACT DUE TO THE WAY THE TREATMENT WORKS!!!! The fix for this is really easy because you just have to lower the pressure on the CPAP. HOWEVER IF YOU DO IT YOURSELF WITHOUT THE COMPANY DOING IT INSURANCE WILL ALSO STOP PAYING FOR IT SO THE MACHINE WILL BE TAKEN AWAY!! SO CALL THE COMPANY RIGHT???? THAT SHOULD BE THE SIMPLE FUCKING SOLUTION RIGHT??? A 5 MINUTE FUCKING PHONE CALL!!! THEY HAVENT FUCKING ANSWERED IN A WEEK!!!! THAT PUTS MY WIFE BEHIND AND A RISK OF THE MACHINE THEY NEED TO FUCKING SLEEP SO THEY DONT DIE EARLY AT RISK OF BEING TAKEN AWAY!!! WHY IS IT SET UP TO HAVE YOU FAIL???? THIS DEVICE HELPS MY WIFE WE JUST NEED SOMEONE TO APPROVE PUSHING LIKE 2 BUTTONS AND THATS IT!!!! The worst part is that if they take it away my wife has to pay for a second sleep study to get reapproved and the REPAY THE $70 AND THE $17 A MONTH TILL ITS PAID OFF!! ALL BECAUSE A STUPID FUCKING COMPANY CANT FUCKING ANSWER THE DAMN FUCKING PHONE!!! AND WHEN THEY DO THEY SAY THEYLL CALL YOU BACK AND NEVER TELL YOU WHEN!!!! On top of that the PAIN from the aerophagia is causing my wife's Type 1 Diabetes to go fucking crazy because PAIN MESSES WITH YOUR BLOOD SUGAR!!!!! ALL THIS EXTRA SHIT OVER SOME DAMN ASSHOLE NOT ANSWERING THE MOTHERFUCKING PHONE!!!! JUST PICK UP THE FUCKING PHONE YOUR OFFICE IS ONLY OPEN FOR LIKE 5 HOURS A DAY ANYWAYS ITS NOT THAT HARD!!!!!!!!!!
