Saturday manga haul from InStockTrades and The Mage’s Emporium! 😊
After being away at work for 15 hours, I came home to find my box from InStockTrades had arrived! A few of these volumes were super-discounted even though they are all in great shape besides the usual shelf wear you see. (This is why I have double-dipped on Rayearth despite already owning the Dark Horse omnis lol.)
Looking forward to checking these all out! 😊 All volumes will be first-time reads except Rayearth.
#Repost @fangirlzassemble ・・・ For today’s coffee break read, Maddie is finishing up @comixgail’s Red Sonja (and falling even deeper in love). Took advantage of the damage discount InStockTrades and this is what happened. I knew it was a gamble, and aside from the two bent corners and one jacked up page actually sewn into the binding, the book is in pretty good shape. #instocktrades #daredevil #edbrubaker #michaellark #stefanogaudiano (at Bridgeport, Chicago)
InStockTrades is moving to my city. This means two things.
1. If I keep ordering from them, I'm gonna have to start paying state sales tax.
2. Quick-ass shipping.
What would I do without Rightstuf and InStockTrades
Quick question, Iately I've been trying to read through and obtain ALL of the original Ultimate Spider-Man stories before I take on the Miles Morales ones, since I need to catch up with the originals first. The latest book I got so far is Ultimate-Spiderman ultimate collection Vol. 4 (on the cover, spiderman is climbing on a giant X-men "X"). I can't find any more TPB giant collections, so am I forced to buy the hardcover volumes, or are there more TPB collections like vol. 4 out there?
Well, here’s the thing. I believe there’s one more ultimate collection volume out there, which has both Ultimate Spider-Man volumes 9 and 10. That’s the one you need next since Ultimate Collection vol. 4 has #40-53. It skips #46 though…not sure why it does that. Anyways, yeah, volume 5 of the Ultimate Collection is incredibly hard to find now. You’d be better off just getting the normal TPBs unless you get really lucky and find it for a dang good price. Unless you care about how your books will look on a shelf, in which case, you’re outta luck with that XD
I’m not sure how you go about getting your comic book trades, but here’s a really good site I use. They regularly have good deals on certain publishers and if your order comes out to $50 or more, then shipping’s free.On top of that, the normal pricing for their stuff is comparable to what I see when I go to local comic-cons. All their Ultimate Spider-Mans stuff is 42% off cover price, so you can get volume 9, which is normally $18, for $10.43.

I hope this answers your question, man.
