it's about a human named Gavin and a hirsa named Sezin who develop a very interesting interspecies relationship in their allied planet away from Earth where their two species live together. they work as two officers in the department of integration where they solve crimes involving their respective species and learn a lot of interesting things about each other in the process.
it's very good and I recommend it to everyone as much as I remember to. the hirsa have a very interesting scent-based social culture surrounding their biology that I think is extremely unique and fascinating. please give it a read!! also please note that the book is for 18+!
