inhales okay hi hello. sits you down. requesting this feels weird but. if you read my fics please give me some kind of engagement in return. it’s how I know people are interested in what I’m doing. if you enjoy something I create please send me an ask or leave a comment! tell me what you thought, or ramble away!! I enjoy it. I fully, fully welcome it. the anon option is always turned on for my asks.
even if you think your rambling may be annoying or unwanted! I will always always accept any and all rambles. I love them. I encourage them.
I completely understand that some people are just really shy about interactions (I’m the same way after all!) but if there’s no engagement in what I’m creating, I’m less likely to continue it because it makes me think that no one is interested.
and if no one is interested, it’s hard to continue it. it’s hard to find the motivation to continue it.
so please please please leave me something, something that shows me you’re interested and want to see more. I try to respond to everything I get, I do. but if there’s no support, there’s no project, no continuation. please show interest to your favorite writers and fics.
because they could be like me, struggling with motivation and thinking that no one is interested anymore because there’s no engagement. and that’s no exaggeration. that is quite literally where I’m at right now, and I’m trying to push through it.
so please. if you enjoy crime au, sea fruits au, even songbird’s blood! leave me comments. send me asks. engage with me. it’ll go a lot farther than you may think
lenny sat with her legs crossed and sighed as she looked at the area around her. she was seated in the back of a coffee shop and an empty cup of hot chocolate sitting beside her. the person sitting behind her was talking too fast for lenny to keep up, but she figured it’d also be easier if she had been listening from the start. “it’s kind of stuffy in here. do you want to maybe go outside?” she said after a moment when she felt like there was a long enough pause for her to speak. “i can feel my skin crying for some vitamin d.”
“did you see a car here, earlier, i - don’t tell me it got towed.”

SKYNET IS SMART. the T-800 knows this; why else would it have sent one of their most expensive prototypes out for the hunt? if it had been any other prey, the would have sent an 800 or an 850. the metal alloys in the T-1000 are difficult to construct, and there’s no way to return the unit to skynet after its mission completion. in essence, skynet sacrificed their knight to kill a bishop. the 800 intends to use this move to checkmate its creators.
VARIABLES: silas bishop is paramount to the human resistance. he & his kind singlehandedly destroy thirteen skynet bases. he will save the future. PROBLEM: the T-1000 is immune to these transcendental abilities. it is unstoppable. unkillable. unavertable. it will destroy the future. SOLUTION: an old dog knows more tricks than a new one.
another problem: bishop’s got more than the 1000 to worry about. the 800 had asked john connor what do if it encountered internal resistance from bishop’s organization. damn the c.i.a., he’d said. they don’t know what’s at stake here. only you do. that responsibility had added invisible wiring to the terminator’s motherboard. only it knows what’s at stake. only it can do the RIGHT THING. metal jaws grind briefly, and the 800 swings its head to address its charge.

as if his week couldn’t get any better, it does. between being hit in the back of the head with an onion, getting towed and generally not having good luck, of course he’d get stuck walking across town in the rain. he’d seen the clouds, of course, but figured if he could take a few shortcuts he’d be able to get back home at least half dry. his shortcuts, however, ended up being blocked and elongated his journey a few blocks, and when the rain came it came hard and fast.
so there he was, hood pulled over his head and shoes drenched, trudging his way down sixth street. despite efforts to keep himself dry, he was still wet to the bone - all that he could do at this point was continue his voyage home. many cars had passed him at this point, some even spraying him with water that had collected in the road, but one in particular stuck out to him.

the HUD flashes red underneath its sunglasses, scanning the crowd. it briefly wonders how subtle it actually is; it has received several questioning glances. LOGICAL. it stands 6.8 inches taller, on average, than those hustling through the intersection. its attire – black on black on black – fits the prejudiced “this guy means trouble” trope. nothing to be done about that, now. it was all that was available.

and it’s on the move in a split second, sifting through the mass of people towards its target. it doesn’t take long before it’s behind its intended prey, stone-faced, unseen. ❛ ––– connor lee ? ❜
