Lena’s sitting on the railing in McDuck Manor, half paying attention to the other kids playing in the foyer, content to just be around with them. There wasn’t a day that went by that she wasn’t happy about picking their side over her aunt. She vaguely noticed someone trying to get her attention, the teen turning to face the other. “Yeah, what’s up?”

There’s no way to explain any of this, she’s tried hard to avoid letting him find out what she was up to but she’d slipped. Huey was her best friend. If her freedom hadn’t relied on it, then she’d have pulled out of the plan at least a month ago. But she couldn’t.
