Sometimes, Nocturne liked to sneak into parties. She had taken up a nomadic lifestyle, constantly zipping from place to place. She wasn't recognized anywhere, this was a new place for her... So it took her by surprise when someone offered her a dance.
She grinned, taking his hand. "Thank you, kind stranger. My name is Nocturne - and you?"

Bad luck had always plagued Ophelia wherever she went. Whether it was scantron's just not registering her test answers and coming back with 0s during high school, and watching her dog get hit by a car and then coming back to life somehow... Strange and discomforting things happened to her all the time. This was one of them. She tripped into a river, been washed downstream, nearly drowned and had apparently scraped her leg and ankle something awful when she was pulled out of the water.
Everything hurt.
"Uuu...." She made a whining noise. "Thank you for the help but... I think my wallet got washed away..."
And the real kicker? She kept most of her money in cash, because her bank accounts kept getting hacked!

For a moment, there was surprise on Darius's face. It didn't take long for him to even out to something more neutral, though. Ah, so he looked into it, did he?

It wasn't often Henri indulged in his hobby of makeup with other people. He'd be lying if he didn't say it wasn't, at least in part, due to Enoch's mockery. But Cian was also someone who enjoyed the artform, so any possible embarrassment was mostly mitigated.
He certainly hoped Cian enjoyed flashier looks, even if Henri was holding back a bit from full on drag, because neither of them were allowed to look at a mirror until both were done!
He had one eye closed while positioning some gem stones on the other's face, and once he was done, he placed his tweezers down.
Henri tilted his head to the side, satisfied - and perhaps smug, even - smile on his face.
