she swears.
"cause they're trying to get me to do some ritual with mama this weekend for some lady. and this isn't like, practical magic, or whatever, and so i told them i've been working, like, doubles all the time." a beat. "wanna trade lives? you can practical magic the fuck out of people, and i'll just make some really good scrambled eggs. deal?"

SHE SLOWS HER CHEWING OF HER BAGEL in a way that's borderline comical, eyes lifting up from the magazine she was pretending to read in a way that totally indicated she was kinda over it - whatever it is. a little huff of air, something that can't be considered a sigh - not really, raising her brows. her twin is better at comfort than her. but perhaps venus has some sort of pity, maybe she wants to reassure xeno - or maybe she just wants this conversation to be over with.
it's always hard to tell with her. hard to tell if that's intentional, too. but survey says: probably so.
"i don't see anything wrong with you. just 'cause you aren't like other people, doesn't like, mean there's something wrong with you. just makes you like, a person. you can tell me what you, like, think is wrong with you, if you want. i can tell you if you're right, or whatever. i'm not a good judge of character, but i'm good at like, judging people. i guess."
