Getting out of the house wasn't a hard thing to do these days- growing up where there was very little extra money that Vi didn't make herself, she recognized that she was very lucky now- and she loved her life. She loved being able to do the things she wanted to do, go where she wanted to go- and of course, she wanted to go see music whenever she got the chance. Saintes, like New Orleans, was very much a jazz town, and while Vi had a healthy appreciation for Jazz, there were times where the girl just wanted to go see her own style of music!
Scott had been busy, so she'd gone alone, he'd pick her up after the show when she texted, and when she stepped out of the concert hall she reached for her pocket- only to find it wasn't there. She patted her pockets, dug through her purse and then groaned as she turned to walk back inside, only to find the main door was already closed. Great- just great. She walked around the back, muttering to herself as she did- Of Course she had dropped her phone somewhere inside. Her tall heels clicked against the sidewalk as she walked around the back of the building, and when she saw a bunch of the stage crew loading stuff out, she sighed in relief. At least she'd be able to get in with them.
She hurried over and was about to slip in the door when it slammed closed and she groaned again, ready to just say a spell and blast the door off the hinges- but she wouldn't. She had to live here now, and while suuure, she and Scott could easily buy them a new door- it wouldn't look great. So she knocked on the door hardly, hoping someone inside would hear her and have mercy for her situation.
