In the 1990s, a troupe of hippies spent two years sealed inside a dome. They ended up starving and gasping for breath. As a new documentary tells their story, we meet the ‘biospherians.’

THE LAW OF MOTION

"Omnis actio agentis se habet ad dispo sitionem subjecti patientis - all influence of the mover or doer is according to the structure of the object to be moved, or the sufferer, the passive recipient."

What alchemists called the Law of Motion could just as easily be called the Law of Spirit. The famed World-Spirit permeates all things. This volatile- creature that flies- spirit is in a perpetual state of becoming. It changes forms in accordance with Cosmic Will.

Think of the innumerable forms of life explained in Genesis 1: let each grow, bring forth seed, and multiply after its own kind.

Our bodies, the physical world, the invisible world beyond our senses, are all in a constant state of motion governed by the Creator. As Heraclitus would say:

"All things are One. Out of the One come all things and out of all things comes the One."

This is the beginning of Wisdom. To grasp and understand that everything is interconnected is the true start of alchemy. To truly transform one substance to another is to understand that each substance is comprised of the same material- or Spirit.
