I got the chance to try two of these services along with my mommy friends: Shula and Gelay. Us moms are always busy, either working in the office or in the household, that’s why we have to make time to try these treatments. We chose the Infrared Sauna with Chromotherapy as well as the PEMF. First, we were asked to sign the forms asking about our personal information and past/current health conditions. They also checked our temperature, pulse and blood pressure before undergoing any kind of treatment. We went to the 2nd floor of the clinic for the Sunlight Infrared Sauna.
We were asked to change into bathrobes which were provided to us. It’s not like a regular sauna. Infrared Sauna penetrates the joints, muscles and tissues. It detoxifies and flushes out toxins, helps support immune system, weight loss and purifies skin. The infrared heat therapy also has been proven to assist with pain relief, improve circulation and skin rejuvenation.
The entire sauna treatment lasted for around 45 minutes. We were sweating inside while talking and watching Netflix - yes, they have a small screen inside the cubicle wherein you can watch Netflix while waiting since mobile phones are not allowed inside. After the treatment, we were all sweaty and that’s good because we got rid of some of our body’s toxins through sweat.
After the sauna, we went to the PEMF machine. This PEMF technology balances body systems and supports and activates the body’s natural healing ability by optimizing cell functions. It is able to recharge and rehabilitate all 75 trillion cells in the body. How amazing is that? This treatment only lasted for 15 minutes and it was very relaxing.
The three of us went home feeling relaxed and rejuvenated after these treatments. Every mom should try this too because like what I said earlier, let’s not forget about SELF-CARE.
