Our Founder, Teni-Ola Ogunjobi, presented in the area of "The Role of the Interculturalist Working with Specific Cultures." The session explored the compatibility of the interculturalist in the nonprofit sector serving immigrants and refugees, gave more insight into what is possible in such roles, and provided best practices on how to align skills and goals of the interculturalist with nonprofit organizations in service of immigrants and refugees. The annual Society for Intercultural Education, Training & Research (SIETAR) USA conference serves as a forum for interculturalists from varied professions and disciplines to come together to share their knowledge, insights, and questions with other members of the intercultural field. This year's theme is "From Adversity to Diversity: The Role of the Interculturalist."
