Janus certainly wasn’t expecting that question. Remus nervously looked to the side, the latter found it very out of character for him.
“It’s fine, if you don’t want to. I was just curious, is all.” Remus’ voice dipped, his accent showing its colors.
“No, I want you to. I was just surprised. You’re never expressed this before, so it’s just a little, huh? You know?”
“Oh, okay then.”
Remus awkwardly put his hands onto Janus’ shoulders, stepping a little closer. The shepherd effortlessly settled their hands onto Remus’ waist, keeping their shy eye contact.
“I’ve, uh, never really done this before, Jan.”
“Oh, right..here, I’ve got you,” Janus pulled Remus toward themself.
Janus then took the lead, connecting their lips. Remus, somewhat unchivalrously, pressed harder against Janus. The two of them pulled away, slightly breathless.
“Pretty good for someone who hasn’t done this before.”
“Thank you, JJ. I’m a quick learner.”
They both shared a small chuckle, simply just swaying in each other’s arms.
