This image used in You Magazine - is the first time I’ve seen Unsplashed credited in a magazine - Rachael Moran. Collage assets: unsplash.com . But more importantly is the kind of composite image I am thinking about for my film poster. Also curious is the fact that Rachel has a bird top right as I was planning to include an angry bird or two in mine as well.

In advance of populating a wordpress website, am looking at hero images and palettes used on websites.
Really like the first one - New Zealand mens wear site Falvé - the colours make the clothes - which you can’t even see - seem expensive and aspirational. Very “less is more” with a lot left to the imagination of the viewer - and I think a very effective use of colour.
Similarly the black and white tones of the Full Stack website seems to be indicating historical relationship with capital. Although it is an investment firm seems to be rooting itself in the real world - rather than the white collar banking world. Suggesting a respect for or connection with hard workers and with blue collar workers - if the image of the hammer and word tools in the menu is anything to judge by. While I would take this with a pinch of salt - I do think the branding and colour scheme is effective.
