Folly Work and The Joys of Breaking Stuff
Working as an audio engineer, I work with some pretty weird things.
Some of those things is dirt, gravel and graham crackers. I kid you not with this one: GRAHAM CRACKERS! The simple snap of the baked tasty treat can be used in some terrifying situations. Dirt in a mason jar being swirled next to a mic became the start of the spell. Gravel is amazing because it can be used to create footsteps, raspy breathing for unworldly monsters, and demonic choruses.
It caused me to view sounds differently. So when I hear something new, my brain really tries to process what I can use to recreate it.
