Editing and Lurking

So today I took a significantly sized section out of my current chapter.  I might just put it in later, but for now I just feel like it would take a lot of work to edit it to where I want it to be and I am not ready for that.  I think it will streamline my editing a bit and didn't need to happen in this specific chapter anyway. 

Also I added more to some parts to flesh them out some more and changed some scenes to hopefully have more impact/get rid of some logical errors.  I'm not sure what bothers me more--bad spelling/grammar or logical errors in the plot, but I know I feel this obsessive need to fix both.

Was happy because I thought of a fix for a part of the plot earlier today and was able to add it when I got home.  All of the ideas I like best seem to end up like that--something that was just unforgettable even though I couldn't write it down right away.  I seem to think of a lot of ideas when I exercise.

In other news, I would love to interact more with the people I'm following.  But I seem to have this bad habit of lurking and stalking blogs obsessively, and having all these ideas for things I want to respond to, but having trouble making those ideas into coherent sentences.  I don't understand it.  Blogging is writing, too, after all.  Anyway, I should probably work on that.

Oh!  And I have decided on a chapter title.  Chapter 21 of Ascent will be called Hourglass.
