So I'm going to sleep now (really late again) and I'll be back on Tuesday. Here's hoping no one suffers bad tumblr withdrawal in our blackout strike tomorrow (technically today).

Just as a reminder - I'm taking down my tumblr for the day to protest SOPA. 

I urge all of you to read up on the bill and consider writing your local congress-person.

Stop thinking "tumblr will be offline, oh no!". And do your own research people.

This is incorrect, not many sites like these are not going to be offline tomorrow. I know for a fact, Google will not be offline, and neither will tumblr, so you can just calm down now.

Although some Google sites and tumblr sites, and even some Facebook profiles may be down, they can't necessarily shut it all down. Especially without fully awaring their audience and consumers of their plan. They wouldn't just not tell you, otherwise there might be conflict and disagreement, and it wouldn't be a wise business and social networking move.

Here is a better website on letting you know specifically who will officially take part in this strike. Please don't just assume something just because it's on tumblr or a friend supposedly heard. If you hear something and are interested, then look it up and research it yourselves.

Pleeease reblog this and calm more people down.

here is a thought...

Instead of everyone (those at the top of the financial ladder) winging about piracy and free downloads, why not accept this is the way the world is now and budget for it. you get enough money through advertising/cinema/concerts. you do not really need to pay your actors $1million per episode or $50million per movie.

I think the day for Hollywood is coming to an end, it will definitely end if you take away the downloading. Because really, who is gonna pay $10 each time you watch a movie.

I say good for you to all the websites involved with the strike. The rich are taking advantage of our free world. all they want is more, more, more money. Really, you do not need that extra spare bedroom for your mansion. Why not think about the people for a second instead of your pockets?

I give my word to all out there, I will bring free entertainment to everyone soon. Only available on the internet. I have no need for lots of money, so I could never be bought out. I want to leave an impact on the world. Really, advertising will give us all the money we need for production. As I said, no need for the extra spare bedroom.
