Rain

Imagine if you could fit a human lifetime inside the time it takes for a raindrop to hit the ground. Even if you can’t, that’s the way it is with nature. Those one or two seconds before the drop finds surface. Those seconds could be more like ten or twenty years, for us. Some raindrops find surface quicker, and some don’t.

Rain is underated. People consider it as a bad thing. A bad sign or hex. But it’s not. It’s soothing. Soothing of the soul, that is. It calms you.

Can you smell it? It’s life.

I suppose, even with the way I stare out into the rain, I’m just happy there’s something out there that can make me sad without making me scared or angry as well.

Rain is heavenly.
