Decided to try painting synesthetic interpretations of songs we used to love. Here’s the first on our old favorites playlist, Ironfoot, by Howard Shore.

The process of this was actually quite tricky. I had to start with huge swaths of useless color as the song marched on without me. But with each subsequent listen through, I started noticing more and more detail in each area. I have a few ideas for how I could develop this painting further, but the spoon cost is beyond me at the moment. Hope you enjoy the glimpse into my brain.

I’m a giver of game, and I’m always honest with my words. I don’t need to feel included by anybody, people feel included by me. I’m selective with my time because why would I waste it, if it didn’t feel necessary, beneficial, or, of importance. Don’t waste my time, if you’re going to ignore something that’s necessary to be said, beneficial to be heard, and, of the upmost importance to be considered. I never understood why people change because of who they hang with, I could care less if we hang at all, but I’ll always be the same person thru-and-thru. People, I fuck with on any higher capacity than the average small talk, those very few people probably accept who I am as a person thru-and-thru.. Which means you know my intentions will always be pure, I would always want the best for your situation, I would never not be honest with you, and I would never say something that didn’t need to be said but you also know I could care less about ever speaking to you again. It would never be a situation where I would be in the wrong and that’s not to be taken in a arrogant way. The few anomalies you’ll ever meet in life, cherish it.. Reflection is powerful, you’ll never have to question yourself, if you know who you are. I’ve always known who I was without question, because I can identify when I’m doing something I wouldn’t normally do, outside of my character, or contradicting towards my intentions.

I generalize my writing bits because it’s never personal, it’s always just a thought in the moment, from a place of my own conclusion, that’s not to say my own perspective isn’t flawed but it’s always an honest thought in the moment. The interpretation is my own, but your own interpretation will always be considered. Guilt, suspicion, or assumption is you wearing the shoe that shouldn’t fit.
