Remember a couple of months ago when I got the idea of an “Interstellar Train Service”, jumping between planets through wormholes?
Apparently that’s not an original idea *sighs*
Peter F. Hamilton beat me to it with his Commonwealth Saga trilogy.
A tangential tidbit: I learnt of Peter F. Hamilton upon reading the transcript of the Security Now! podcast episode 387. In that episode, both Mr. Gibson and Mr. LaPorte was practically gushing about Hamilton’s novels... which means I have to get them and read them...
