After seeing that post about Tails, I'm now curious. What is this "Interstitial Proximity" podcast?
Interstitial: Our Hearts Intertwined is a tabletop roleplaying game by Riley Hopkins. Heavily inspired by Kingdom Hearts, it's a game you and your friends can use to grab some fictional characters you like from different things, and make them be friends (maybe) and go on adventures.
(The second edition is Kickstarting for the next 4 days as it happens!)
Mechanically, it's a pbta game (roll 2d6 and add a stat, pass or fail or mixed success) where a character's stats for rolls are determined by their changing relationships with the people around them. (There are a couple different kinds of links you can have with other people, and you can use your links to do cool stuff depending on what playbook you're running.)
Interstitial: Proximity is the third season of the Interstitial podcast where a group of players (including the game's designer) actually play the game together.
I'm taking foreverrrrr to get through the first episode because I'm busy, but I'm having a good time when I can.
Raphael, Pidge, Miles Edgeworth, and Char Aznable are in the middle of a heist with Tails as their coordinating guy on the radio.
If that sounds like fun to you, here!:
(I don't think it requires context from any of the previous games?)
The current season is on the RHATAF podcast (Interstitial: Infinity) but I'm caught up so I went back for the season I missed.
