Waitlisted at Mississippi State
Dang it, I thought this went so well! :( They’ll let me know where I am on the list eventually, but I was really I wouldn’t put on it at all.
Just had Illinois’ yesterday. The interview went ok, but I’m not sure I gave as good of answers as I could’ve. I might have felt the same way last year, and I was super close to getting in, who knows. Hopefully it’ll work out.
Also still have to hear from Wisconsin, though I highly doubt that’ll lead anywhere.
Kitty is doing much better at home, and I’ll get to see her tomorrow, so that’s one good thing at the moment.

Also, whilst I should be focusing on this one, I can’t stop thinking about a different job I should get an interview for next week with a company car, laptop, phone, study support, huge pay rise 😓
Edit: I say pay rise, I'm fully aware I've been unemployed for 5 months so anything would be a pay rise!
According to Google maps it will take me 25 minutes to drive to my interview tomorrow...but of course I need to add on time for traffic and locating the car park and correct building and the opinion of others that I "drive like a grandma".
I'm hoping it will be sunny so that if I'm stupidly early I can wander around the campus a little.

It is something you want and/or need, but you don’t have control over who gets hired. You can only control your knowledge, appearance and demeanor. You and everyone else facing an interview are stressed by it.
But not…

I have my interview at the uni for my nurse training today. I am absolutely bricking it. Haven't wanted a smoke this badly in a while. Just trying to concentrate on my breathing right now. Need to leave the house in maybe 40 minutes, not even sure of what to wear. Urgh god why can't i just feel ok about this?
