How does one simply APPROACH your old boss when you were supposed to be dead? Well, when you still very much were dead rather. He paced nervously outside her office door for a while before deciding he just... had to do it. But he didn’t want to just pop in through the wall and scare the daylights out of her. No, he had to be a bit more subtle. Yeah, subtle was not his thing, nor was anything serious, but she needed him to be this time. 

This one last time. 

With the added control he had for Halloween, Clay made himself invisible, stepped through the wall, sat down opposite Ari, and watched her a moment. He did this often when he first died. Just watched her at her desk. Pretended they were just in there having lunch together again. Gossiping. Clay sighed and gently reached over to her desk and gently tipped her pencil cup over until the utensils spilled onto her paperwork.

Home Again

He could have stayed.  Peggy had been right there.  He could have stayed and remained with her.  Could have had a child or multiple children.  But Bucky’s face kept showing in his mind.  Bucky still needed him.  And so, he had returned to home.  Returned to Bucky.

He was disoriented when he returned.

“That return trip is a doozy.”

Nat gave me an early Christmas present. I'm a bit scared to open it. Clint signed, motioning to the garishly wrapped purple box. At least she'd wrapped it in his favourite colours.

[We did a coin flip. It's a universe where Nat died. Since we sort of tend to ignore that happening on Tumblr. lol]

Sterling felt his chest tighten when Clint signed to him what the box was. Was this the last gift she had ever given him? No wonder he hadn't opened it in all this time. Once you open it that's it. There would be no more gifts from that person ever again. It was huge and Clint was sharing this moment with him.

"You don't have to." Sterling signed back. "But I'm here for you if you do. It's going to be hard. I know. Once it's open that's it. But... It's a chance for her to make you smile one more time. Isn't that worth it?"

As far as night clubs went, LUX was one of the--if not the swankiest he’d ever followed a mark into. He’d had to slip the door man quite a bit of money, but it had been worth it in the end. So far, his mark hadn’t done anything untoward. Yet. That could change, the night was still young. And besides before he could move in, he had to have proof. So far, none of the man’s ‘type’ was here, everyone looked of age, and like they were just here for fun. The normal, above board kind. @intheageoficons

Italian Outing

He arrived at the restaurant a bit early so he wouldn’t leave her waiting alone if she showed up before the 7PM mark.   Trattoria Trecolori was a solid old Italian restaurant, a fixture of its neighborhood, and he’d made a reservation to make sure they couldn’t be denied a table.  He waited on a bench outside, enjoying the crisp air and watching the early evening crowd walk across his field of vision.

True to his promise, he was dressed down from formal, wearing a red jersey under a black buttoned shirt with a pair of clean and not-too-worn blue jeans over a comfortable pair of boots.  And he had both the familiar hunger pangs (he hadn’t eaten a really heavy lunch for reasons) and the more rare nerves that made him worry that she wouldn’t show.

Cheryl felt like she stuck out like a sore thumb in the trendy nightclub she’d just walked into.  Her skirt was unironed and she’d just “showered” in a convenience store lavatory.  She was desperate for a music gig since she’d moved to L.A. but so far she’d had no luck.

Maybe this club had possibilities, however, because she saw a baby grand piano in the middle of the club.  With hope in her heart, she trotted up to the bar and asked the first man she saw, “Do you know where I can find the owner of this club?”

Lee liked to believe that he was full of surprises, that even to this very day he was still able to surprise people. He might be right or he might be wrong. The man had decided to pay one of his SHIELD agents and friend a surprise visit. Not at all certain whether today was a day off or she hadn’t left home for work yet. Either way. this was going to be pleasant.

The man used stealth in order to sneak into a position where the woman was in direct view for him, but he couldn’t be seen at all. Lee then disappeared from his current location and reappeared right in front of her. “There is no escape!” He stated as he wrapped his arms around her waist and pulled her closely into his embrace for a hug for the current moment in time.
