Tykath

Over two thousand words written over a couple of days. I wonder if you can tell that I like this pair.

who hogs the duvet: Drakath by a long shot. It’s what he used to doas a child, alone, and with Ty. It doesn’t matter much to Ty, who tends tosleep on top of the sheets through summers and winters. They stick to eachother so closely when they sleep so it hardly makes a difference even though Typokes fun at Drakath for wrapping himself up like an infant.

who texts/rings to check how their day is going: Though Ty does check in withDrakath every once and a while, it’s the Prince who does so every half hour tohour. Most times he will disguise the clinginess with complaints about his ownday or some random comment about how he saw an ugly dog Ty would take a likingtoo. One, it helps him figure out where Ty is since she goes off to doinscrutable things for inscrutable reasons and two, he’s very happy to havesomeone who listens to him seriously and enjoys doing so.

who’s the most creative when it comes to gifts:While Drakath doescome up with things that have more than just material value, Ty is the one whocan make grand gestures with small items. Or very heartfelt sentiments held inmorbid ideas. I’m iffy on it but I think Ty has an ability that helps herunderstand what people want and if it’s Drakath, he’s a book she’s read backand forth daily. Perhaps she’d splice some plants together and make a weed in hishonor, spreading it everywhere he’d have a little of everything the seedstouch. “And I’ll see you no matter where you are.” Definitely a heart-stopper,that girl. Kind of sappy but Drakath loves that and would admit it into thehands he masks his face with.

who gets up first in the morning: I think Ty is the night owl andmorning curser so it’s Drakath. It’s probably ingrained in his routine, stuckthere from royalty to rags. It’s actually annoying to Drakath, having to getready first while Ty snoozes until noon rolls around or until Drakath whineshard enough. After a while, it’s Drakath that becomes the problem and the reasonfor that is a couple points down.

who suggests new things in bed: By the longest shot, it’s Ty. Sure,Drakath has had a few adventurous rolls on the sheets with some hired help butwould squeal if they tried butt things with him. With Ty, Drakath could be goingabout his day and suddenly freeze, flashing back to the amazing and unthinkable thingsthat happened the night before. Waving a hand in front of his face doesn’twork. Snapping your fingers next to his ears does, since that definitely isn’twhat Ty whispering to him sounds like.

who cries at movies: I am firmly in love with the idea ofDrakath as a tsundere. And even if a movie doesn’t affect him at all, any moviewill affect Ty. Good, bad, so bad that it’s god, Ty is very into the storiesshe reads and watches, I feel. Drakath is the one, leaning on the arm of thesofa, scoffing or cringing at gruesome scenes. The real show for him is Ty onthe edge of her seat, laughing, or sobbing. Sadly, no horror movie has gottenher to hide in his arms (it’s the other way around).

who gives unprompted massages: Ty, all the time. She loves havingher hands on her favorite person and boy does it make Drakath feel his best.Though when he’s down and doesn’t notice, Ty giving his shoulders a squeezehelps him come back. Well, he’s tried but he gets embarrassed. Plus, it’s whatservant’s do! Except Ty. She’s the exception to everything, which means shegets those rare unprompted massages if she manages to bite down and not commenton it.

who fusses over the other when they’re sick: Drakath by far fusses madly over Tywhen she gets sick. Because she never gets sick. She’s so irritating that evendiseases have come to avoid her. What’s a cold to a vicious monster than canstep on an undead behemoth and not notice? So when Ty does get weakened byillness, it must be serious and Drakath mustbe by her side at all times. Most times, he gets sick himself being closeto Ty. Sure Ty indeed gets worried when Drakath falls ill, especially so whenit’s a particularly bad ailment. But the level of worry matches the level ofseverity. It’s always a code red emergency, all hands on deck, securitymeasures at peak even if Ty has a flu. “You’re in that mud puddle of a town allthe time! If you don’t get sick just from a day there, then this must beserious!” “Drakath, Falconreach isn’t a Pig Sty.”

who gets jealous easiest: An insanely difficult question. Thegeneral feel of them both is that they’d react violently and swiftly whensomeone is on the end of some serious doting by their significant other. Withsmaller infractions however, Drakath would notice and give Ty an earful. Atworst, he attempts to get rid of his competition. On the other hand, Ty doesn’tget uppity over Drakath making small talk. Something very serious and she stillsays nothing but she does everything in her power to destroy her competitionfrom top to bottom. Then again, if she found that Drakath was genuinely happywith someone else, she would bow her head and step back. Not a chance withDrakath. If taken to the extreme, he will do just as bad as Ty. Alright, I mayhave answered the question through rambling on so there you have it.

who has the most embarrassing taste in music: I would have definitely answeredwith Drakath had I not taken a look at the AQ forums way back when. Falerinmade a small post of dialogue to come, that’s still coming actually, andDrakath was looking at a portrait of an ancestor and called him a ‘fop’ basedon his style. So maybe the Prince does have an eye for fads or at least, doesn’tcare for that kind of look. He does seem the type to be snobbish about tastesin a sense. As in “I know what real musicis” and he puts on some classical stuff. I have no idea what Ty enjoys withmusic. Actually, was it jazz? I think it was jazz and jazz is always nice.

who collects something unusual: Not something that immediately hadan answer so I was about to say neither but I remember Ty made sketches. Lotsand lots of sketches, of what was noticeable. Usually things with a heartbeatso everything with some plants. That might count as a collection. To a lesserextent, I think Drakath steals and collects royal heirlooms that get shippedaway from Swordhaven but that’s more of a pride thing than a hobby.

who takes the longest to get ready: Ty wakes up later or way way way later but it’s Drakath that keepsthem stuck inside till the very last minute. She takes half an hour at most tobrush her teeth, brush her hair, and smack on a tiny bit of foundation if it’sa special day. Then, Ty sits down, cracks open a book, maybe fixes a snack andnods every time Drakath runs over to ask her about how he looks.

who is the most tidy and organized: From the looks of it, Drakath. Ty’sroom is a mess of sketches and descriptions to go with them. There aren’tpiles. The room is just flooded. The Prince has the usual strictness expectedfrom someone raised as a noble and Ty’s a slob. But Ty does find things in herroom faster than Drakath can in his. It absolutely mystifies him. Ty’s cheatingthough. I have an inkling that if Ty really wants something, she always has anidea of where it is.

who gets most excited about the holidays: It’s Ty who enjoys holidays, kickingher legs as she sits and things about the sweets that come with thefestivities. If Drakath had to get involved with festivities, it’s too muchwork for something frivolous to him, especially those peasant traditions. He willgo along if Ty is there, since it makes these tedious things somewhat moreenjoyable.

who is the big spoon/little spoon: Drakath and Ty monopolize each otherso much that it’s annoying to other people. They hug each other face to facemost times and it’s most comfortable like this. If one goes to sleep earlierthan the other, then the last one in gets the prestige of being the biggerspoon. So almost always Ty.

who gets most competitive when playing gamesand/or sports: They’reboth incredibly competitive, especially when they’re against each other. Tynever goes easy on Drakath unless she’s teaching him something. Even if shedid, Drakath would be furious when he figures out that she let him win. Samevice versa, Ty hardly wins a chess match against Drakath. I wouldn’t think she’dcare until Drakath played against her. I may go with Ty being more competitive,as crazy as it sounds. The reasoning is that Drakath would denounce his loss asa fluke or accuse his opponent of cheating. “Impossible” is one of his favoritewords after all. On Ty’s side, she applies herself immediately, reading up onchess strategies and card game tips.

who starts the most arguments: Drakath loves to fight over anylittle thing and Ty just rolls it off her shoulders, turning all these smallarguments into banter. It’s actually very good that Drakath starts arguments toget problems out into light since I think Ty keeps quiet about things botheringher until she pops. When he gets them out early, there’s more damage control.Otherwise, the bickering is on the light side, even when Ty starts something. Thinksomething, and I’m getting kind of weab-y here, along the lines of the episodeof Shokugeki no Soma when Alice fought with her “dog” after he had a match withSoma and Akira. Darn, I don’t remember any gif posts of that but it had somereal Tykath vibes.

who suggests that they buy a pet: “Drakath, I want to adopt a dog!” “Youalready have Ash!” Joking aside, Ty definitely. I doubt Drakath would like amongrel or a fleabag under the same roof as him. In fact, he might get jealousof pets taking attention away from him. Pffft, Ty throws a ball and Drakathraces with the dog to get it. Pride? Nobility? Comes after beating the dog athis own game, ha! (also a joke).

what couple traditions they have: Hard to think of many but one is anidea that stuck out in my mind for a while. Since Ty is afraid of being in naturalbodies of water, fearing what might lurk underneath innocent waves, she andDrakath hold hands tightly crossing bridges, being on boats, that sort ofthing. Drakath loves it, being the tough guy of the pair.

what tv shows they watch together: Chopped so Ty can actually cookwithout worrying over the fine details and absolutely not Game of Thronesbecause Drakath will get some bad memories lifted up. Joking! But this is kindof hard. Um….something vapid like reality TV because Ty thinks the drama isfunny and Drakath gets a snort out of how peasants live? Otherwise, anythingsince Ty gets engrossed into stories.

what other couple they hang out with: Who would want to be anywhere within20 feet of Drakath? Ty can come but please leave the leech on your neck athome. Speaking seriously, maybe Nythera and her s/o if Drakath plays nice sinceit doesn’t seem like Nythera is that invested in old human history and has agood connection to Ty. Actually, Ryunn and Tomix? Just to see how that’d turnout? I want hijinks!

how they spend time together as a couple: Well, after this splurge of info,what don’t they do as a couple? Going out, staying in, traveling, working, it’shard to pick out specific things that aren’t umbrella terms. They’re enemies,to best friends and lovers. That’s the best way to put it even though I reallywanted to give definitive examples but I feel as though that would simplifythat too much.

who made the first move: If we look to Double Edged, itappears that Ty was the one but she does that with everyone without an ounce ofseriousness. It was Drakath that made the first leap into very seriouslydeclaring his intent to tie himself to Ty.

who brings flowers home: Ty and she grows them too. It pissedDrakath off to heck when she kept doing that. I remember a scene where he grabsit out of her hands and tries to strike her with it. That ended up puttingpetals in her hair and she gave a good giggle at his attempt and it melted himinto fuming magma. Once they’re together, Ty just likes having flowers in theirhome or just plain grows them, always offering them to Drakath.

who is the best cook: Drakath, not by choice. Rather bynecessity. Ty can cook and has the potential to cook wonderfully. Too bad she’safraid of poisoning and killing the people who eat her food so she cooks meattill its grey. If Drakath wants to not eat sand flavored dinners, he’s going tohave to do it himself. He does mess up a little since Ty likes watching him.

While it wouldn’t be the same or even as bad as it actually went, I’m pretty sure that team AART would be kinda aghast what happened to their friends in team CTTR. Based off assumptions I would have, pretty much they fell apart. If the Battle of Beacon came to pass, I saw it having some not so great repercussions. 

Condor would probably be the only one that came out relatively alright. If you give a broad definition to alright. There’s a chance of others finding out what she is but while bad, I think Condor’s charm and presence could if not win at least keep her from imprisonment. But I feel that it pales in comparison to what she felt for her team. She may not have cared about her circumstances as much if her team was together. But because of what happened with them, I doubt she can just rest and would not only be out to stop the guys that incited the Battle of Beacon but also getting team CTTR together.

While I’m not certain of the method, I know things don’t go well for Tannim during this time. He is a faunus and his teammates may or may not know about it (Bradley, I decided, definitely did regardless of relation by this time). And he is related to those that have been labelled as terrorists. Tannim wasn’t raised by them but does know who they are and has been contacted by them on occasion--usually to reject family business. However, because of an incident during the Battle of Beacon, he is accused of being in line with them and is left with no choice but to flee and eventually having to turn to the family he denied.

I actually don’t know what would be going on with Ty. But it is assumed that her family may not have the cleanest hands. It could be that Ty was supposed to be removed from the conflict because she is still the youngest in the family. It is possible she got a little too far in with whatever they were doing and she was away because of it. Either way, my assumption was that she has left the team for some reason or another.

Rune probably would’ve left amidst the chaos or right after it was finished. Either way, with either Beacon’s fall and/or Lady Celestia’s disappearance, Rune doesn’t find it possible to stay in Beacon. Especially if those that he had to be protected from were involved in the attack. Tannim is the only one he actually told of leaving, saying that he wanted to believe CTTR could help but he can’t take the risk. He opts for a land that is ‘new’ for both him and his pursuers and hasn’t returned nor gave word of where he would’ve gone. 

I still haven’t decided what goes on with AART but it’s not gonna end up like the team they are supposed to be like.

Just so I don’t forget what my idea for this thing is...Jian by chance had met Yoichi and found out what his intentions were. He balks and nearly laughs at Yoichi’s want to take on Domitian as, in his opinion, it wouldn’t take much to win (in the hardest of hearts, I’m sure Jian knows that’s not the truth and he’s just being an arse). Tyler on the other hand, he would say for Yoichi to knock himself out. However, odds are that Tyler’s hanging out with Lucille and while he knows his sister enjoys trouble, he’s not about to have her dragged into trouble...especially when he gets the sense Yoichi is a type Lucy isn’t adept against. That is, if he can counter her psychic ability, she isn’t going to very good at just plain fighting...which, now that I think about it, Kesil (Yoichi’s father), has body supremacy--a power that allows a user to have control of their bodily motion--which can resist forced movement like possession, blood manipulation, and, yes, telekinesis. 

Anyway, Yoichi seems interested as if Jian claims it’s not that hard that he must’ve at least fought Domitian (understatement of the year). He also realizes that Jian also could have an idea of where at least Tyler is but will not say if he did. They’re at an impasse he tells Jian and that there seems to be one way to get past it...

They end up fighting which ends up being pretty even although Yoichi does figure he might not be able to take any other possibility on if he fought any harder. However, he did manage to slip the one thing he had entered the fight for--Jian’s cell phone--and decides to withdraw. Jian is actually more annoyed that they didn’t finish the fight and initially didn’t notice he was missing his cell phone. 

Because of this, Yoichi manages to get in the phone and actually i pretty disappointed by the lack of password to give even a little challenge. He manages to find Lucille’s number--figuring Lucy is short for something else--and calls her. He feigns being a pedestrian that ended up picking up Jian’s phone after he dropped it and says he’d like to return the phone to her. Seeing as it’s not the first time her brother’s done that, it’s believable and says she’ll do so and, yes, she is with Tyler when she is answering.

Shortly after, she does get a call from Jian and she tells him that she would be getting his phone back. He tells her not to go as it was a ploy from one of Ty’s kids, what Yoichi would’ve intended, and what happened. Adrian, huddled in the back is like, ‘sounds like a Yoichi tactic to me.’ To which, only makes it interesting for Lucille and Tyler to go, as well as any others with them at the time.

But not before Tyler jabs, “Defending your boyfriend’s honor, aren’t you sweet?” “Tyler, I will rip soulthreads out of your body and sew your mouth closed. Shut. The fuck. Up.” And there is also a glare he knows he can’t see from nearby as Domitian is not amused by this shit either.

Lucy and Jian go back and forth on going as he doesn’t think she should be fighting Yoichi (he doesn’t know he’s right but hey). She quips it’s cute to have her little brother concerned for her but she is already interested and getting her to back down is difficult now. Filza might have commented on it...and it takes a minute but Jian does recognize her voice and tells her to tell Lucy that going is a bad idea. Filza comments that it is a bad idea but it is a fun one nonetheless. This earns a groan but a resignation and asks at least for the location because he wanted a conclusion to their fight one way or another.

“Serenity, Lucille’s not wanting to go back to sleep,” Kinder called down to her, and he leaned against the banister. The innkeeper didn’t pause in her stride as she told him, “Then would you mind bringing her down? She’s probably restless...”

Kinder gave a nod before bounding back up the stairs. As he disappeared up the stairs there was a shudder from the floorboards. Serenity continued on, gesturing to a table towards the back. It overlooked the rest of the tavern in case she was needed. Ty slipped into one of chairs putting the down the box of small cakes, scrambling when she nearly knocked it over along with the silverware. Serenity placed the cups and plates along with the teapot with an ease belonging only to a veteran.

“Lucille?” Ty repeated, as she tried to hide her awe of Serenity’s simple grace, “Did you get into babysitting while I was away?”

“I guess you could say that...” Serenity slid into the sit opposing Ty’s. She started to pour tea when she asked, “Ty, are you the only one of your family back in Falconreach?”

Ty tore away from her ogling of the sweets, “No, we’re all around, more or less. Don’t worry, we’re not trying to cause any trouble yet. We’re all a little tired, really.”

“It must’ve been exhausting for whatever you went off to do,” Serenity said a tinge of worry in her tone. Ty started to try and brush off the matter as it wasn’t so bad...just time consuming. However, before she could think of the right words to say, Kinder returned with a bundle in his arms that wiggled in his hold. Serenity took it from him and cradled the swathe. Ty cringed slightly but found herself peering towards Serenity. In her arms was a baby with  reddened cheeks and curly, fair locks. 

The first thought Ty had was how could she miss being there for Serenity if she had a child? Better yet, who was the asshole that knocked her up? Serenity wondered if Ty was alright as she pondered this. Kinder called, “Hey, you’re Ty. You finally came back to Lore?”

“Huh?” Ty said, snapped from her thoughts, “Who’re--”

“Oh, right,” he slid a finger across his ring, “I’m that one kid you met when you visited Tannim and Rune.”

Ty knew she remembered at least his white hair. When it came to her, she snapped her fingers, “Kinder.”

“Yep, I’m surprised you still know my name,” he gave a sheepish smile. Serenity chided, “Kinder, I hate to ask but do you mind taking over for a little while I catch up with Ty?”

He nodded, giving a wave to Ty and a small tickle to Lucille, who giggled, before going towards the kitchen. With tea cooling and the table to themselves, the women sat with the baby cradled in Serenity’s arms, the blanket obscuring Ty’s sight. Ty looked over to Kinder setting down plates and greeting customers, “Does time fly. When I met him, he was like this tall and hiding behind a wall. He wouldn’t talk to me at all. Wonder if Tannim’s rubbed off on him.”

“I’m sure that he’s been a good influence,” the innkeeper ceded.

“Speaking of influences,” Ty teased, leaned a little closer, “Who did you decide to go down on?”

Serenity turned a faint scarlet as Lucille made soft ahs to her reaction. She replied, “As nice as it sounds, I didn’t do that with anyone. Despite any similarities we have...Lucille is not my daughter.”

Ty balked. So this wasn’t her kid? She supposed that her mother was just babysitting after all. But she had thought when she saw how Serenity held the infant and the hair that it had to be her child. Lucille shifted and Ty could only see a tiny fist that looked as if it were pointed to her. She started to babble again. A chuckled escaped Serenity’s lips as she remarked, “I think she wants to meet you, Ty.”

Ty didn’t want to hold it. While there were a couple charms that only babies could pull off...Ty wasn’t the biggest fan of them. Overshadowing their charm were the fact they were frightening lumps that cried and pooped all day. But the persisted in its rocking and excitable grunts. Suddenly Ty found herself uncomfortably close to Serenity’s face. The dishes digging uncomfortably  into her sides and the heat of the teapot was searing her calf. What just--

Serenity pushed back her chair and asked, “Ty, are you alright?”

A mumbled groan responded to her as Ty started to pick herself up. A giggle came from the baby as she did so. Great, even the baby was mocking her.

“Lucy, that was mean. If Ty wanted to hold you, she would have,” Serenity scolded the swathe in her arms. That made Ty freeze for a moment.The baby? The baby...pulled her like...like a rag doll? Ty found herself approaching Lucille, who seemed to enjoy the whole thing.

Holding out her arms, Ty took the infant in her arms. How, she thought. How could something so little pull what she did? Getting a better look, she saw that blonde hair that she mistook before. Her icy eyes met eyes the color of an ocean. And then Lucille smiled. Then it made sense and Ty started, “Oh sh--”

Seeing Serenity, she amended midway, “--itake.”

She knew Eric fucked around on occasion. It was still gross to come to mind even if she was more adult than the last time it was actually an issue. But, when it came to Lore...Eric never had that much of an interest in the people (everything else was a matter that belonged locked up in their basement). Only one person really came to mind as someone he tended to fool around with when he wasn’t antagonizing Ash.

That wasn’t quite the word bu still. At the same time, she couldn’t help the funny imagery that came to mind. A smile cracked on her face, “I can’t believe I missed it. Man, it must’ve been so much fun for Rune. I can’t even think on how she was about it. If she isn’t here then let me guess, back on hero business?”

“No, I’m afraid not...” Serenity in a tone that made her features gray. She looked out towards the rest of the inn. A glassy sheen came to her eyes. A knot formed in Ty’s stomach as Lucille wriggled in her hands. Maybe she was overreacting, after all Serenity’s words could mean anything. Ty thought this but she knew she wasn’t fooling herself. Her thoughts were interrupted when she heard crying.

Serenity blinked away the teary glaze in her eyes, her attention coming back to the child. She reached to take Lucille back and gave quiet apologies to the babe. And that odd kind look returned. The one that led Ty to think Serenity was the mother. But it made sense...and it made Ty feel sick. Of course a kind soul like Serenity, who was like a mother, would care for the child of any of her children. Especially if...

“...how...?” Ty found herself asking. Serenity readjusted her hold but otherwise said nothing. 

Ty’s stomach churned painfully. Something about all of it seemed wrong. Rune was like another sibling, bond or no. While she didn’t stop Ty, she had always been around to keep an eye on her. The last time they met, Ty was pretty sure it was some wishing of her to come back safe. And she was strong too...it seemed too surreal for her to be go out in a way so...so normal.

Auras and Semblances

Working on Team CTTR and AART’s auras and semblances. This is what I worked out so far.

Condor

Condor’s is a red colored aura that matches the markings of a Grimm. Her experience and usage with her aura is minimal and sporadic. It a partial reason why Condor was enrolled into the academy so that she could learn how to use it properly. She picked up on the basics such as minor shielding and minor boost to ability. With some trial, error, and plain luck, it was discovered what Condor’s semblance was. Her semblance has been called both “Bodyguard” and “Aegis.”

She is untrained in her semblance so at current she can take on wounds of those that are injured. This is mainly Ty as she is Condor’s partner although Condor is not above taking wounds of her team. It seems like self-destructive ability but because of her unique being Condor maintains a high pain tolerance and is quick to recover. Faculty are the ones that call it “Bodyguard” and Condor isn’t adverse to it as she teases Ty with it.

It’s Rune that calls it “Aegis” because of Condor’s potential with it. Currently, Rune and Ty tries to have Condor focus on activating her ability prior to anyone getting injured so they don’t take the damage at all. Then to where she can do it without putting all her attention only onto activating it. I can’t say for sure how fast progress is  as Condor is a quick study but I don’t think can learn easily from Rune because of his pedantic attitude but Ty gets Condor’s style a lot easier. However, the best they hope Condor will pull off eventually is for her to use her semblance in order to transfer any damage not to herself but to her enemies instead. 

I went with this ability as with semblances, it usually relates to some aspect of their character. Since Condor didn’t start off human and may or may not maintain memories of her previous body, her semblance would manifest based off her personality and experiences from just before and while attending Beacon. She has a pure goal of wanting to help others and especially her teammates. She knows she is strong and actively tries to take ‘pain’ away from her friends. It would happen more often with Ty than anyone else but she wants to help even if she isn’t certain how. This is how “Aegis” comes about (and yes, it gets confusing if they call it that in front of Aegis, who goes to school there).

Ty

Ty’s aura is a blackish-blue (I sorta want to change the color but I can’t think of a color to associated with Ty other than red and white). As one of the members that actually went to school, Ty has gotten training in her aura but the problem is that it is ‘overwhelming.’ More or less, Ty has more power than she can physically/mentally control and will simply--read hopefully--grow into it eventually. Because of this, Ty’s semblance activates with touch from her hands so she wears gloves to keep it from happening.

Her semblance has been nicknamed “Death Touch” by her siblings, which I don’t think Ty completely likes. Either by her bare touch or with her direction, Ty’s semblance can siphon from an aura it comes in contact with, thus replenishing her own so she can maintain defenses and can be difficult to beat in a fight based on aura levels. Her touch is lethal to Grimm as it is siphon to aura, which is a manifestation of the soul, which Grimm don’t have. Only with extended contact with another aura can Ty end up reflecting that aura. If she held it for long time (I’m not sure the rate of her siphoning only that it isn’t slow but it isn’t fast) she could even use that person’s semblance. But by stealing other auras there is a side effect of sometimes seeing into a person as, again, the aura is a person’s soul. She also can get nauseated depending on what kind of aura she comes across

For Ty’s semblance, it is based off her normal verse ability of absorbing energy from undead/darkness related beings. In terms of how it works as a semblance, Ty tends to switch personas around everyone she is around. She acts in a certain way to everyone and has a general one she rather have presented to others. It also can relate her awareness of her ‘desperation’ when she is trapped in bad situations as well as her mercilessness when she’s at advantage as both have her trying to ‘take’ from her opponents.I’m not sure of whether Ty can ‘grow into’ her ability but I feel she’d like to be able to not have to wear the gloves all the time.

Tannim

Tannim’s aura is an amber color. Despite going to school, his control over his aura is only average. On his marks, it is probably his only shortcoming as a future hunter. Although, it could be understandable as he was blatantly told of its danger. His records from Signal denote his semblance as “Incineration.” Due to his nature and the potency though, Tannim is reluctant to use it consciously outside of through red dust. 

What makes Tannim’s semblance difficult is that unlike many others, it is reliant on his emotions. It can manifest without his control when his emotions are brewing strongly beneath his sunny demeanor. One of the best ways of showing this is when he extremely nervous or upset, things a small distance away can crack and shatter. It can produce fire when he is angered and when he is excited, usually coming forth (and he doesn’t always notice) when he’s in a fight he enjoys. Because of the tie is has to his emotions is probably its biggest drawback. But using his experience with smithing as a conduit for showing how Tannim’s powers could work, Rune tries to help his partner further himself. One such ability is getting Tannim to purpose shattering things. He would heat the material and quickly take away any heat around it. Any flaws in the weapon would cause it crack and break. There’s also, you know, reducing things to ashes.

I went with Tannim’s semblance because of his normal verse power of pyrokinesis. He doesn’t have every bit of his trauma that made him afraid of it however he does know of its danger and doesn’t want to harm friends or fellow combatants with it. It is not necessarily tied to his personality although the heat can be seen as his warmth towards other people. However, for the most part, Tannim’s semblance is one he inherited from his birth parents.

Rune

Rune’s aura is a purple color similar to his eye color. He didn’t attend school like Condor but unlike her, his control of his aura is on par with some faculty. But, he reports, that despite his control, his semblance “is not that strong” in comparison to the rest of CTTR and AART. On his records at Beacon his semblance is “Propulsion.” For most situations Rune uses it to allow himself or his teammates to jump higher as well as move a little faster. In some others he can cause objects to move towards or away similar but with more limitations than telekinesis. This is what Rune will claim it as and it is what a majority of faculty and students know it as. However, this is not his true semblance.

Her actual semblance is called “Misfortune.” It is an odd semblance as Rune calls it ‘limitless’, which for someone like him, it can be. In general, Rune can curse anyone or anything with her semblance. When she was faking “Propulsion”, Rune used minor curses to allow blasts of energy to cause others to jump higher, curse opponents to slower reaction time/perception as well as have the ‘bad luck’ of objects falling or ramming into others.

Misfortune’s best usage is with Rune’s ‘real’ fighting style. Working in ways similar to magic, Rune can use gestures, foot movement, and eye contact to invoke traps of bad luck. The easiest method for her, however, is the formation of crystal dust on her body and throwing it or using it as a defense on her body. How she is able to form dust is because of her past prior to Beacon. She lived in a dust-heavy environment for years and has even consumed it. Long enough so she has a large store of dust with her own body.  However, any dust grown form her body is ‘tainted’ with her semblance. As Rune would put it, it is ‘crystallized chaos’.

Rune has been and is pursued by those that want to use the dust she can grow as well as her semblance’s best possibility: inflicting negative effects on anything/anyone. Because of her home prior, it was difficult to know about her semblance. But by some slip of the tongue, it brought trouble that she barely escaped because of the intervention of Headmaster Celestia. Celestia provided protection in the form of Rune attending Beacon while they either find and capture the criminals that tried to used her semblance or until Rune graduates Beacon.

Rune’s semblance was chosen based off the characteristics of both Rune’s ‘role’ in where she grew up and her hatred. The naming of her semblance is synonymous to herself, if you asked her, because nothing good tends to happen in her presence and much of her life until coming to Beacon has been miserable. It may be why her semblance developed into something so destructive. 

Ash

Ash’s aura is a golden color. Ash has learned about aura and practices associated with it. However his development with his aura has been slow. He had to have his aura unlocked and even then he has only been able to use the basics of his aura. But since his arrival at Beacon, the promise of a semblance has started to emerge. 

When he gets to it, his semblance gets some really overblown, long, ridiculous name like, “Super Amazing Dazzling Light Blast, Go!” It’s Ash, guys. He’d do it. His semblance lets him form light to his will. When he starts using his semblance, he can only do beams from his hands or small waves. They can pack punches and knock enemies away but aren’t too dangerous. If he kept practicing, he could start forming light into more solid and customized shapes such as swords or wings. A side effect of him using his semblance, his eyes take on a golden glow that sometimes spills over.

Ash’s semblance is based off the abilities he shows in both the ArchKnight saga as well as his guest slot during the Friday the 13th War in Book 3. Although, really, you have to admit, he would be great with gold in his color scheme. 

Aria

Aria’s aura is a forest green color. She has an average control of her aura although she uses it a lot. Her semblance is called “Animal Instinct.” It allows her to imitate animal characteristics for a short time. She does things like becoming as fast as cheetahs, strong like a bear, and glide like a bird.

When she activates her semblance, her aura manifests and shows a spectral image of the animal she is imitating. However, there is a condition for her aura’s ability. She has to observe the animal doing the skill she wants to be able to imitate. Technically, she could watch it on TV or something of the like but instead, she learned by watching her grandma, Grams, when she’s dealing with animals both domestic and wild. Aria has found that she could imitate Grimm too but it isn’t suggested as it is extremely draining on her aura.

Aria’s semblance is based off her helping out at the pet shop in normal verse. Her most used animal, I see, is actually the Pridemasters/lords for her nimbleness and ferocity. It also works with her stubbornness and her tendency to get into trouble.

Raven

Raven’s aura is a purple color much like the streak in her hair. She has undergone rigorous training by both teachers and a pair of brothers, Chaney and Lon, to control her aura. It is unique from her team as it is dependent on the lunar cycles. Because of this and her semblance’s ability, it has been called “Lunar Fang.” 

Her semblance gives a boost to her speed, agility, and strength with an ability that works like a berserker. The strength of her semblance is dependent on the moon. A new moon equates to no power at all. Waxing and waning crescents are normal. Half and further can have the strength of a well-honed user. A full moon--in theory-- is the zenith of Raven’s semblance. Only she tries not to use it on that day. This would be because while Raven gains near invulnerability and incredible speed and strength, her mind can be heavily affected by her ‘berserker’ ability. She’s irritable and in a fight she can become feral, a threat to a combatant unaware of her ability.

I chose Raven’s semblance because of the events of Book 3 Amityvale. In this verse, Raven doesn’t have any grudge, she just isn’t fond of her semblance’s side effects. It also fits with her want to have friends--a pack--but at the same time being standoffish like a lone wolf. Her semblance focuses on her temper because of the berserker ability. While Raven has learned to be in control in her fights against other students, some are worried of her exposure to ‘real life’ combat.

Thursday

Thursday’s aura is a silvery white color. She has learned about aura and her semblance despite not having any formal education as a huntress. Most students do not find a use in her semblance however some faculty do believe that her ability would be beneficial when she is more honed in her semblance. It is simply called “Healing.”

When touched by her aura, anyone or anything can be healed. This usually is for scratches or minor wounds as that’s the extent most hunters/huntresses in training would endure. However, this where I am split. One option is that if taken to a battlefield or the like, ‘healing’ isn’t exactly what it would be. Her healing can only work on things like bruises or gashes...so far. Thursday’s semblance is really some kind of blood manipulation and thus she can’t heal what’s not heavily involving blood such a bone fractures and some organs.

The other option is that her semblance is properly “Restoration,” being able to restore things to their original state. Her semblance is limited to anything living though so broken structures or glass can’t be repaired with her semblance. At the moment, Thursday can’t do a full restoration, only able to do sections of a person’s being. 

Both of Thursday’s semblance possibilities come from the Book 3 Amityvale events. Her semblance is one that runs in her mother’s family and it’s debatable of whether Thursday is aware of this. Her color ended up being a contrast to Ash. It wasn’t purposeful or anything, it just happened to end up like that.

A Little Death

Decided to write some of what I thought happens in the AU where Rune dies from Lucille’s birth and Eric, by a bad stroke of luck, doesn’t know about this. 

A cry resounded in the room. The midwife looked over and called, “It’s a lovely girl.”

 At that announcement, a sigh escaped Noita. Her strength faded, her grip on Tannim loosened. He helped her ease back. She gaped for breath, every inch of her body exhausted. Serenity dabbed a cool rag against Noita’s head and moved a few stray locks from her face, “You did well…”

 “How are you holdin’ up?” Tannim asked, not glancing at the mess. A labored, rough laugh answered him. The ranger replied, “I would sooner…take an undead army than t…than to do that…again…”

 A small chuckle escaped Tannim’s lips. Serenity giggled behind her hand, “Yes, well, you have a while before you can run off and try that.”

 “I…” Something didn’t feel right. While it’d grown quieter, the baby hadn’t stopped weeping. A small frown graced her features. Noita shifted only to give a soft groan, finding the soreness settling in, “Is…she unharmed…?”

 The midwife walked over with a swathe of blanket in her arms, “She’s completely healthy but I think she’s crying out for her mother.”

 “All that fuss for me…?” Noita remarked with the beginnings of a smile as she reached for the bundle extended to her. Her hands trembled enough that she withdrew for a moment. She took a breath and steadied herself to relieve the midwife. Her arm went under the newborn and her other hand went to support the baby’s head, wispy golden locks brushing against her fingers. Bringing her close, she was brought face to face with her crying daughter. She said, “Come now, that is not needed. I…I am here.”

 The baby started to quell. She glanced to the midwife and then Serenity who motioned for her to continue. Noita stumbled over a few more words before talking to the baby. Soon the cries subsided and the newborn’s eyes opened. She gaped upon seeing them. Her eyes were a brilliant blue with a dash of green. It wasn’t quite like Noita’s own but instead a mix hers and Eric’s.

 Inching back, she shifted so her daughter rest in the crook of her arm. The midwife asked, “Do you have a name for her?”

 Noita looked to the tiny body amongst the swathe of blankets. Prior to this, Noita had traveled much of the Land of Dragons. She’d delved into knowledge long lost to the current world and found treasures worth pounds of gold. But seeing the baby in her arms, she felt a lightness in her being and she didn’t think there was a more beautiful sight.

 “Ma—”

 “Lucille,” she interrupted, the name rolling off as if it were natural, “Lucille…is her name.”

 “Very well,” the midwife replied before looking to the guests, “may I have a minute with you both so the mother can have a moment alone?”

 A curious glance came to Tannim and Serenity’s features but they complied. A breath left Noita after there were gone as her frame sagged. She didn’t have to eavesdrop to know the content of their talk. She knew limits but still…

 Lucille stirred and started to whimper. Noita gently shushed her, “I am sorry, you do not like those sorts of things do you?”

 Small cries answered her as Noita noticed the wash bowl start to drift from its place. She nearly went after it when she felt a sharp pain. Deciding against moving, she went to rocking Lucille, “Already showing your ability. You are your father’s child.”

 Lucille paused in her cries as if to tell her to go on. A small smile graced Noita’s features as she continued, “It is nearly unfair how much you are like him. A head full of blonde locks. Beautiful eyes. Only a few minutes into this world and already wanting its attention. I bet you will have a brilliant smile too.”

 A grunt came from Lucille as a chuckle came from her mother, “Hopefully his laugh too rather than mine.”

 “You sound like you’re havin’ a good time,” Tannim called, walking back in. He bumped into the wash bowl before putting it back in place. He was watched and Noita noted, his fingers are fidgeting. They were friends long enough to know their little tells. He always knew to watch her when her fingers became fists. She knew he wasn’t comfortable when he seemed unable to be still. With her free hand she gestured to the seat beside her. He came over and Lucille gave a small ‘grr’ to his presence. Noita laid a peck on her head, “She can feel your discomfort. Maybe say hello to show her otherwise?”

 Tannim looked over to his friend. Really his innards felt like they were devouring themselves. However seeing the newborn’s cringe and beginnings of another cry, he forced himself to push it aside. He smiled as he said in soft tone, “Hi, Lucille. It’s good to finally meet ya…”

 He started to offer his finger. The baby started to grasp for it. While she was fascinated by the object, Noita directed to her companion, “Can I…ask a favor of you?”

 Glancing over to Serenity, leaning against the door frame, she said, “Of both of you?”

 Nods answered her as she felt that pain again. Her features didn’t betray her as she said, “I know it is a lot but…care for Lucille……please. Please…do not leave her alone.”

 She gave a bow of her head. It was pathetic, she thought but she couldn’t do much else. She couldn’t ask anyone else such a task even if she could move from her bed. For a moment, her head felt heavy. A hand brushed aside a cascade of black to cup the side her face. Looking up, she met the firm gaze of Serenity as she told her, “You don’t need to ask for what we would do anyway. I think I can say that for both of us.”

 A glassy sheen came to Noita’s eyes. She glanced away, embarrassed for doubting their character. Old habits were hard to break. She didn’t have a chance to beat herself up as the movement right beside her took her attention. Looking down, there was a splotch of black in her vision. Blinking it away, she switched arms as she quietly apologized before kissing Lucille’s cheek.

 It went on like this for minutes. Tannim and Serenity watched as Noita tried to keep her daughter from wailing at the thin-veiled tension of the room.  From small embraces to near inaudible words to using her guests to help. And when chatter stopped distracting the newborn, the ranger thought maybe if Lucille could rest so she didn’t have to keep feeling what kind of thoughts were around.

 To anyone else, the melody sounded melancholy. Yet, there was an allure to the soft and mysterious tone behind it. It was haunting…and one could say it was the sound for a swan song. But it didn’t matter to Noita as there was only one that the performance matter. Lucille gave a yawn as her eyes slowly fluttered open and shut. Her eyelids became heavier as the serenade neared its end and by the end Lucille fell into slumber, her mother’s features her last sight before sleep overcame the infant.

 If there was a time to release her worry and regret…now would have been the time. However, Noita refused to. She lived to where her regrets were minimal and besides…Lucille only just fell asleep. There were many uncertainties about it all even as her vision grew dimmer and her exhaustion calling her to rest. And while there were many things she could think of this situation…she knew she’d done all she could.

 It grew so hard to move but she still craned down to give a last kiss on her daughter’s head. She loved Lucille and had faith she would be lovely as she could feel in her presence. She missed Eric’s presence but thought if—when—he came back that he’d surely ensure their daughter grew up happy. Both of them would be...

It’s a thing where Lucille is very much aware of the environment around her. She doesn’t understand words or thoughts but she can feel more so than hear the underlying emotions in thoughts. And when there’s literally an area of people thinking how her mother’s going to die and her mother trying not to think all the negative things about her dying...it’s kinda completely uncomfortable. And she’s been feeling that in the womb too so Noita had a couple months to slightly get an idea.

How long will they last? - If Tatsuo’s insanity was put in check/Tannim is not apart of the family? For a while. I can’t say a defined time. Otherwise? They will murder each other. Soon-ish.

How quickly did/will they fall in love? - Tatsuo fell for Lyla long before she probably even figured out she might have some semblance of affection for him. 

How was their first kiss? - Probably it was actually a fake out makeout to avoid trouble with the Regulators, multidimensional ‘enforcers’, when they were much more inexperienced than the powerful as I don’t know what they are now.

Wedding:

Who proposed? - This is hard. I feel like Tatsuo would try but he’d either end up too flustered or Lyla would think he’s joking. But I also think Lyla is more of a presence than him and is more upfront. Either way, there’s a lot of wide eyes because all their kids are kinda like, ‘WHAT???’

Who is the best man/men? - Tatsuo is the loser with no friends really, I think a lot of them are dead but I think his best woman would be Myranda, a person he partnered with when he was once working with Regulators.

Who is the bride’s maid(s)? - (I’m assuming that because of above question, this means the maid of honor) In this case it’d be a man of honor as it would be Domenico because Lyla would probably want him to be there and they are very close (how the other see it, is an entirely different thing)

Who did the most planning? - Lyla. If not her by herself, her family would get nuts about the whole thing. It’s actually sorta terrifying to Tatsuo. Like Lyla, it doesn’t have to be that big…and it just fall on deaf ears.

Who stressed the most? - Neither really? They can handle just about anything that could go wrong. Although I supposed it’d be Tatsuo more than Lyla because he’s gonna be with someone and stay with them. He’s never done that (or only did that once) with anyone else. 

How fancy was the ceremony? - Back of a pickup truck | 2 | 3 | 4 | Normal Church Wedding | 6 | 7 | 8 | 9 | Kate and William wish they were this big.

Who was specifically not invited to the wedding? - Lyla’s siblings. She sounds like she really just doesn’t like them. 

Sex:

Who is on top? - Lyla. Like for all his bravado, Tatsuo would fold to Lyla and she just seems so casual about it. Like it could just be a greeting for coming home from work and oh, pushed onto the bed, hi there honey.

Who is the one to instigate things? - Depends. they both can be instigators if they’re wanting to go. Like slowly sliding behind the other with carefully laid kiss along the collarbone. And Lyla does wear some loose clothing that Tatuso could take advantage of…

How healthy is their sex life? - Barely touch themselves let alone each other | 2 | 3 | 4 | Once a couple weeks, nothing overboard | 6 | 7 | 8 | 9 | They are humping each other on the couch right now

How long do they normally last? - If we want to be technically, they could last for a long while. They’re not human and both are sorta shapshifters. Like they’d probably have to get bored before actually being physically unable to last. So at least 30 minutes. Although I feel like there’s one time they tried to see how long they could go. That poor bed and I’m pretty sure that any friends or family thought they might’ve went missing or died.

Do they make sure each person gets an equal amount of orgasms? - Nah, I don’t think they need to have it even. Although it could be a nice little challenge take every so often. 

How rough are they in bed? - Softer than a butterfly on the back of a bunny | 2 | 3 | 4 | The bed’s shaking and squeaking every time | 6 | 7 | 8 | 9 | Their dirty talk is so vulgar it’d make Dwayne Johnson blush. Also, the wall’s so weak it could collapse the next time they do it. (it depends, it really does)

Children:

How many children will they have naturally? -  I’m not sure if Lyla’s ability applies to children that naturally hers. It seems like it should. But even then, I don’t think they’d be overboard as she’d want the time to dote on her own kids. Tatsuo would like to have kids too as these would be children born out of love between him and Lyla. I want to say three but I also lean towards only one too. 

How many children will they adopt? - Ha, ha, HA, what ever do you mean? It’s not like there’s like nearly a dozen of children adopted. And that number could still grow with years. 

Who gets stuck with the most diapers? - Tatsuo because he actually has more experience child rearing and because Lyla is a little against ‘chores’

Who is the stricter parent? - Depends on what aspect. In terms of just generally in their care like their diet and some of the activities they do, that would be Tatsuo. In terms of abiding by their own terms as well as those set by their family and minimizing the harm to bystanders, that would be Lyla.

Who stops the kid(s) from doing dangerous stunts after school? - Neither? It’s not by any lack of care from either but because the kid will be alright. It will not hurt them badly as you think. Although if it were a truly dangerous affair, both would come running in to their child.

Who remembers to pack the lunch(es)? - They alternate between packing lunches. Lyla might be more inclined to do it if she were cooking with any of her children. Tatsuo would do it otherwise.

Who is the more loved parent? - Lyla. She’s the fun parent and the one that’s more inclined to show off for their amusement (so long it was within her rules). I mean it’s not like Tatsuo is disliked but the kid(s) is (are) more inclined to their mom.

Who is more likely to attend the PTA meetings? - Lyla. Tatsuo basically was barred from going when he was being friendly and some of the mothers were getting friendly as well. Besides that incident, Lyla likes just socializing with the parents. 

Who cried the most at graduation? - Tatsuo. He was just so happy for the kid and when they spoke their speech, it was hard not to tear up.

Who is more likely to bail the child(ren) out of trouble with the law? - Tatsuo. Mainly because of Lyla’s strict adherence to certain rules. Although she’d find out about it eventually, at least Tatsuo can talk her down if he helped bail them out first.

Cooking:

Who does the most cooking? - Neither? I mean odds are Tatsuo just moved in with Lyla and as far as I know, the entire family takes turn cooking so neither really have to do it too often.

Who is the most picky in their food choice? - Tatsuo. There are just certain foods he doesn’t like and Lyla is unlikely to not eat something her children made in earnest.

Who does the grocery shopping? - Neither for same reason as cooking. But if it were just them, probably Tatsuo.

How often do they bake desserts? - They don’t go overboard on making them. However, Tatsuo tends to make peach-related desserts for Lyla.

Are they more of a meat lover or a salad eater? - I don’t even know why but I think Lyla is meat lover for reasons I can’t even think of. Tatsuo doesn’t have a preference.

Who is more likely to surprise the other(s) with an anniversary dinner? - Either. 

Who is more likely to suggest going out? - Lyla, she’d likely suggest going to some place that isn’t apart of the usual choices (like italian or mexican) or some place with a food challenge.

Who is more likely to burn the house down accidentally while cooking? - Lyla, actually. not because she’s bad at it but because she might go nap and leave it to overcook or got distracted with a game. 

Chores:

Who cleans the room? - Tatsuo although it never stays clean any longer than a few days.

Who is really against chores? - Lyla. She doesn’t like chores. At all.

Who cleans up after the pets? - I doubt they actually have pets but I still think that Tatsuo would be the one to clean.

Who is more likely to sweep everything under the rug? - Either. Lyla does it if she has to do chores. Tatsuo might do it because it’s just a small thing and doesn’t want to get cleaning supplies just for a ‘speck’

Who stresses the most when guests are coming over? - Lyla because entertaining and showy is a thing. So cleaning is essentially when it comes to that. 

Who found a dollar between the couch cushions while cleaning? - Neither, I bet any of the kids have searched the couches thoroughly for change when ordering pizza or something.

Misc:

Who takes the longer showers/baths? - Tatsuo, not for much other reason other than kinda spacing and just having time to himself.

Who takes the dog out for a walk? - Both. they like to take paths centered in nature. It’s usually leisurely or brisk depending on the temperament of the dog. 

How often do they decorate the room/house for the holidays? - Every. Major. Holiday. There’s stuff around for it. Maybe a week or so early. except for the Christmas/Frostval-ish holiday, happens at the beginning of the month.

What are their goals for the relationship? - They don’t have any major end game. They just want a companion for life. And considering they have lived for eons, that’s a long time. Although add what plagues Tatsuo, it might tack on dealing with his craziness. Also, be the greatest defense for those that are their kids and grandkids, naturally or not

Who is most likely to sleep till noon? - Lyla. It is a fight to get that lazy mom up early. She likes her sleep so good luck trying. 

Who plays the most pranks? - Ha...ha...they can’t really play pranks on each other really because they’d probably turn it into a prank war. And it’s not like something here or there. It is a battefield and anyone that happens to fall into those pranks are considered collateral damage.

Who is the better wingman when they’re out together?: 

Alison. Rune doesn’t like talking to people and good god, unless in a relationship or have familial relationship she can’t talk good of someone. That and Alison knows how to play people to her little tune. Although Alison has the tendency to make backhanded commentary sometimes while wingman-ing. In some aspects, she’s a terrible wingman as if they’re interesting, Alison might take them for herself. 

Which of them is more likely to pretend to be in a relationship with the other to avoid something/someone?:

Rune. She isn’t one for relationships without a lot of work for it. That she sleeps around a lot more than people probably suspect from her. She can’t remember every affair so there are times an one night can recognize her and try to have an encore. While Alison probably should and could leave Rune to the trouble, Alison gets that twinge of possessiveness. Because causing distress or humiliation to Rune is something that she does best and any others are pale imitations to the brand of annoyance she brings. This involves wrapping an arm around Rune and being very heavy with nicknames Rune hates.

Who is more likely to fall asleep at the other one’s place?: 

Alison. Rune doesn’t feel safe at Alison’s home. If not for the fact it was where she almost got killed, there are also the siblings Alison has that she’s stepped on toes with. That and Rune doesn’t just sleep anywhere. Alison doesn’t necessarily need to sleep but does like being lazy with her Ru-Ru, even if it means getting on Rune in her true form and turning into  more suitable form to take up space between her arms. Obviously, this annoys Rune and usually leads to something along the lines of “You are an asshole.” “Yes, but I’m your asshole.” “Unfortunate.”

Which of them comes up with the more terrible of the bad ideas?: 

Alison. She is brilliant enough to come up with great ideas but Alison could with the bad idea because it’s more entertaining. Rune isn’t a risk taker in the same way Alison is and normally doesn’t think of ideas that can turn out bad because, you know what, it usually ends up biting her later. Alison would also do it because sometimes those awful ideas yield an unexpected boon. 

Which of them remembers more details about the other (e.g. birthdays, favorite foods, how they take their coffee)?: 

Rune. And that’s pretty damn impressive. Alison changes her identities and thus sometimes her tastes on whims. So this means that some of these details shift more than it does than any other person. However, Rune recalls most of them and even which identity preferred what. Alison initially thought that Rune wrote these down but have figured out after stealing Rune’s ‘little black book’, she still knew Alison’s preferences. That isn’t to say that Alison is oblivious to Rune’s details as she tends to prod at some that she finds bland. But she does keep these details in mind earnestly for things like cooking or knowing when to make Rune celebrate her own birthday and their anniversary (if they have one).

Who is more likely to bring home a stray?: 

Rune. Rune likes animals with the exception of avians. Alison isn’t fond of them as she, odds are, has already taken something like their essence. So it’s like having a kid brought home. She also gets jealous of Rune’s attention on the stray and complains that she treats the stray better than Rune does her. So usually a stray isn’t going to be staying with them.

Who eats all of the popcorn when they go to the movies together?:

Alison. Her appetite, odds are, much larger than Rune’s. Also, Rune might be a little more invested in the movie than refreshments. However, Alison does tend to feed (read: stuff) popcorn to Rune when she’s getting a little too critical about the course of a movie.
