Prompt #2,193
"Okay, role call."
A series of groans came from all around the fronting room.
Prompt #2,117
"I think they'll be proud of us."
Headmate A froze. It took a moment for realization to sink in, but once it had, Headmate B froze, too.
"That's... the first time we've suggested that... one of us will be proud of the rest of us," Headmate A said. Headmate B couldn't name the emotion that was welling in their chest at that thought, but it was strong enough to force them to sit down, taking a few stumbling steps towards their bed before they collapsed and could do nothing but let the implications of that thought, and all the feelings it brought, wash over them like a wave.
Prompt #2,207
Headmate A gets to know their headmates for the first time and is overwhelmed by the joy and love they feel.
Prompt #2,039
"I usually end up with some sort of mental sidekick in these situations. So, can I get a name?"
"I – what – I – my name's Headmate A, but you can't just – what the hell do you mean by that?! Am I not the first – uh – whatever you've had in your head before?!"
Prompt #1,694
While cleaning their room, System A comes across an old possession that triggers a switch with a headmate that's been in the system for a very long time – long enough to personally remember how they came by this possession. The new fronter then begins to reminisce about the possession and answers questions that other headmates in co-con have about the past... but they don't realize that's what's going on! This headmate has been away from the front for so long that they completely missed everything about discovering their plurality and living as a system! How long does it take the other headmates to realize that this fronter has no idea they're not just talking to themselves?
Prompt #1,999
"I'm going to jump in the sea and become a mermaid."
"Sounds like a plan. Let me know what fish tail we end up with."
