Hello, everyone! My name is Tano, she/they, and I'm 20+. I have a few years of experience with Tumblr RP, and I'm excited for the chance to join this group. I've read the Newcomer's Guide as well as the Monthly Mission Board, and I would be interested in threading with some people for the plots there.

finally, she made an intro post! after several people asked for it and i gave them a shitty excuse for a character intro on discord, here’s the real deal. this is magdalena! you can find her moodboard here and her playlist here (suggestions are always welcome, because i am bad with playlists).

story

born and raised in the smallest town no one remembers in venezuela

became a nurse in the next big city over

as she grew older she realized that her dad was in some really big shit

one night, as her family’s house was attacked, she was dragged out and urged to flee the country to somewhere they wouldn’t find her

flew to mexico, then came to america in the back of a truck with a broken heart, no papers and no understanding of english whatsoever

got a job as a caregiver to an old man, who quickly became her best friend and taught her english and the love of classic american books and art

when he died she came to wade to take on the next job as an at home caregiver for an old person

magdalena is still constantly looking over her shoulder. she hasn’t been in contact with her family much, except for the letters and the cash she sends to her home country hoping that it reaches them

she will not speak about her past, at least not in detail. she has never told anyone what happened

personality

quiet, soft spoken, gentle, shy

she is insecure about her english, even though it’s gotten very good

has her nose in a book most of the time

she has an obsession for american candy, wool sweaters, sunshine and dogs

she is christian and very religious. she’ll go to church at least on sundays and she prays before bed

plays the piano, but hasn’t played in a long time

she rarely swears, and when she does, it is a big occasion and she will put money in a jar for it

even though she is insecure and mostly likes hiding away, she believes and takes part in (mostly church-organized) neighbourhood events

looks

in winter and whenever the weather allows it, you’ll find magdalena in wool sweaters and ripped jeans

when it’s warmer, she loves sun dresses and sandals/bare feet

she used to have long brunette hair back home, but when she came to america, she chopped it all off like in a runaway movie (she wears it shoulder-length ever since)

much to match her personality, magdalena is rather smol and fragile in build

she will usually smell like vanilla or candy, even though she smokes

she always wears a small, golden cross necklace

My OTP will forever be Isaac Riggs and Delia Burton.

WHAT ARE YOU WILLING TO WRITE WHEN IT COMES TO SHIPPING?

I’m pretty much willing to write anything and everything the other mun is comfortable with.

HOW LARGE DOES THE AGE GAP HAVE TO BE TO MAKE IT UNCOMFORTABLE?

If I’m being completely honest, I don’t really see Delia with anyone who is younger than her. As far as older peeps go, I definitely see her staying within the same decade, if that makes any sense. She has multiple verses, so different things can happen, but yeah...

ARE YOU SELECTIVE WHEN SHIPPING?

I mean, not really. As long as the two muses have enough chemistry and our writing meshes together well, I’m totally up for giving the ship a try. Fair warning, though, at least a piece of Delia’s heart will always belong to Isaac, though, because the ship is just that amaze.

HOW FAR DO STEAMY MOMENTS HAVE TO GO BEFORE THEY ARE CONSIDERED NS/FW?

I’m going to say when you get to the point where it’s too steamy to even be shown on one of my soap operas. That probably makes no sense whatsoever, but anyway.

WHO ARE THE OTHER CHARACTERS YOU SHIP YOUR CHARACTER WITH?

There’s a part of me that at least sort of ships Delia with Bailey Shepherd. They were born around the same time, so it could be fun. Tuck Jones was also Delia’s first real schoolgirl crush, so there’s also that. And then of course, Tyler Robbins. She has a special soft spot for him, too. Those are just the main ones I’ve done and can remember off the top of my head, so bring me more to explore!

DOES ONE HAVE TO ASK TO SHIP WITH YOU?

I mean, I’m all for your muse having a thing for mine and possibly unrequited feelings. You don’t necessarily have to ask, but just please let me know how your muse feels about Delia so that I can join in on the fun, too!

Yeah, just as long as everyone knows that Delia will never fully be over Isaac, no matter if he’s in the picture or not. He’s going to exist in all but like maybe one or two of her verses. Sorry not sorry.
