It's an extroverts world
I am not one to engage in networking or making contacts at work to "climb the ladder". As an introvert I don't feel confident or comfortable doing this. A naive part of me thinks that my work should speak for itself...and it does. I am damn good at my job, better than many others. I have proven it time and time again.
But apparently we live in a world where in order to go further in your career, you must be extroverted, willing to toot your own horn, smooth talkers, ass kissers, and adept in puffery. The introverts are taken for granted, disregarded or simply forgotten.
In other words, I need to be someone who is not me. Fuck you world.
Once I figure out how to flirt, this lesbian is going to leave her room.

Once I learn how to spot another lesbian, she better make the first move.
