Our Cycle 6, Challenges and Event
The project is a little over one year old now and we're currently in Cycle 6 and our prompts are already available. Here they are:
Now, we want everyone to be able to understand clearly our proposal, so we’ll give you an example here. Suppose a writer is interested in the "Games" prompt and writes a fanfic of Sesshomaru being a football player, or maybe a basketball player, or maybe a baseball player? It's sports, right? With this plot, the writer used a prompt story. On the other hand, artists can draw this scene and maybe even add Rin as a cheerleader or as the number one fan of the team that Sesshomaru is a part of.
You guys want an example of how to merge prompts? Well, we will give you one! This time, let's assume that the chosen one is "Empire". What do you think of a story where the king is sick and his son, to help him, travels to find a witch who lives in the middle of the forest, surrounded by exotic animals and plants with very green foliage? It would be a real adventure, wouldn't it? What if the two, prince and sorceress, made a deal? This example might be easy for a writer to develop, but how would anyone draw it all? Well, the idea is to challenge you to think and create things that you never imagined before, or finally put down on paper that idea that you’ve bene saving for too long.
If it gets too difficult, go for something simpler. How about an InuYasha prince and Kagome princess, standing in their Palace’s gardens as they watch Moroha run through the green grass?
These are our examples for you, but don't get stuck on them. Like we said, these are just examples to help you visualize the project proposal.
The end of Cycle 6 is: September 8th. Fanfics and Fanarts should preferably be posted until that day. Any questions or problems, please contact us.
Okay, these are a little harder to explain. So, please pay attention! Biweekly Challenges are just that, a challenge! They need to be posted within the stipulated deadline, neither before nor after, and they need to have our tag too (#Inuyashapjct). The challenge is to research on one of the following dates (just to get informed and have a base on the subject) and write/make your fanart based on that prompt.
e.g. if someone chooses August 25th, the fanfic/fanart doesn't need to be set in Brazil. Have you ever imagined Inu no Taisho (Touga) wearing military clothes? Well then, this is the time! And, if you wish, you can mix these challenges with our 3 prompts previously mentioned. You just need to keep in mind that these challenges must be posted within their deadline.
Each month we will propose an event, which is another way to encourage everyone's creativity. As well as the Biweekly Challenges, fanfics/fanarts written for these events must be posted within the stipulated deadline, be tagged as #InuYashapjct and can be merged with our 3 prompts of the cycle that were previously mentioned.
Guys, this is InuyashaPjct. We hope you were excited by our proposal, we hope we inspired you and we will love to see the beautiful works you’ll make. Don’t be shy in case you have any questions. We’ll respond everyone as we go through the messages/mentions. In the future, towards the end of the cycle, we will open a suggestion form, so you can send us prompts/challenges/events that you’d like to see around here in the next cycles.
Remember: voting on prompts is open to the public. We will create a forms with the suggestions and the 3 most voted will be chosen. The sub-prompts, challenges and events are the project admin's choice. We accept suggestions, we’re always open to innovations, but we make the final decision in these cases. This is it! The challenge is on! Have fun and don't forget to tag us!
