Better Half + 📋What was your main goal for the story and/or writing experience? Do you think that you achieved it?

Hello, friend!!!

I had only one goal when I first started writing Better Half and it was to have fun. And working with Krennic and Kleya despite the core theme of Better Half being pretty grim and dark (it is a darksoulmate after all lol) has been quite fun.

I was coming from a writer's block. Got a kinda successful Bleach story and tried to transform it into an original because some friends drilled this idea into me and it backfired spectacularly, not because the idea wasn't working. But I wasn't having fun with it. Because writing fanfics is what I LOVE to do. So it sucked the joy out of writing for me.

And Better Half brought that joy back.

So my goal was to have fun and yes, I totally have achieved it.

I love your stories! I was reading Mating Policies for like the millionth time and I’d like to know if you’re going to post any more stories for InuYasha and SessRin. They’re all incredible and I’d love to read more from you

It’s been almost 10 years since Mating Policies and to this day it warms my heart that people continue to read and enjoy this story.

Nowadays I’m solely writing for the Star Wars/Andor fandom, so I don’t have any plans to post anything for InuYasha/SessRin for now, but the fandom/ship will always have a special place in my heart.

Also, this blog is basically dead. This holiday/weekend I’ll post a masterlist with my InuYasha/SessRin stories on @nymphl, the blog I currently use. You can follow me there if you want.

Will you ever go back to writing BYARUKI fics? :(

Hi, darling! Sorry it took me a while to get around to reply your ask. I haven't been active on tumblr for a while now T.T

But yes... I WILL go back to writing my ByaRuki stories. In fact, I was rereading today Remember and a bit of The Duke's Lover (tbh, TDL is way longer, so it'll take me a while to reread the story hehe) so I can go back to write. I won't promise when I'll give you guys an update, but hopefully this year I'll come around with an update.

Thanks for the ask, darling! I truly miss writing with Byakuya and Rukia and with Bleach in general hehe hopefully everyone will be hyped with the anime coming back

Use the words you want to use; play with language, experiment, use said, use adverbs, use “unrealistic” writing patterns, slap words you don’t even know are words on the page. Language is a sandbox and you, as the author, are at liberty to shape it however you wish. Build castles. Build a hovel. Build a mountain on a mountain or make a tiny cottage on a hill. It’s been a while since I’ve checked the #ByaRuki tag here on tumblr. And I wish I didn’t, cause there’s more people against the ship using the tag, than there are fans using it to post content for the ship.

I know we, ByaRuki fans, are at fault for this, for it’s up to us to keep the tag and fandom alive, but it’s not like it’s that difficult to tag as #antibyaruki or byar*ki or any of its variations, if you don’t like it.

It’s annoying to check out the tag of one of your ships to have people saying why they don’t like them. And it’s ABSOLUTELY FINE do dislike something, no one is supposed to like everything (and certainly not what I like) but if I ever say something about the ships I dislike, I should keep in mind that people going through the tag of the ships they like, want to see content produced by people who also like them, not my reasons for disliking them with extensive (and absolutely unnecessary) character analysis.

Because NO, SHIP X DOESN’T MAKE SENSE. BECAUSE CHARACTER X WOULD NEVER ACT THIS WAY.

Thank you. I KNOW RIGHT??? That’s why it’s NOT cannon, most of times considered CRACKSHIPP and why we do write fanfictions and create fanarts for it.

It’s been a while since my last update for this blog, but I’d like to ler you know I’m alive and back to writing my stories, mainly The Duke’s Lover. You’ll get an update for Remember and PS I’m still not over you as well. But I’d like to tell you today I’ve posted a Kensei x Mashiro story on ffnet.

Set in the universe of Altered Carbon, my story takes place in 2380... so a few centuries in the future.

But in this new reality, like everything else, she...their love may just be an illusion.
