I feel like in most invader falls aus Gaz's relationship with the Pines isn't really explored (or just that she isn't explored in general) so it's very refreshing to me that she gets a bit more spotlight in your au!

I agree that Gaz probably wouldn't enjoy a lot of the social or high energy activities Mabel enjoys, but I still think they would have a surprising amount of stuff to bond over (so long as Mabel meets her at her level)

Zim is smart enough with tools to probably do anything bill needs him to

You've noted that Ford and Prof. Membrane wouldn't like one another and I've never agreed with anything more. I think Ford wouldn't like Membrane from the get go but the moment he sees Prof. dismissing Dib he'd be PISSED. As soon as he realizes that Prof. Membrane isn't entertaining or acknowledging Dib's ideas, the two of them would have beef.
