hellooo i love your posts and i see you do a lot of fic art so i’m wondering if you have good omens fic recs?
I spent too long on this, and these are just the ones in the first few pages of my Ao3 history. I separated them into two categories, the first is content with ace relationships and/or lighter themes or fluff. The second is for heavier themes or more explicit content. I listed each category from shortest to longest. Enjoy!
Light Brunch:
Crowley does something that’s a little flirtier than usual, and when Aziraphale runs away, Crowley thinks he’s ruined everything. The poor angel just needed to process, so a little bit of communication gets them back on the same page. Crowley would do anything for his spoiled angel and Aziraphale knows it. (Rated T for kissing, 2k)
A “night after the not-pocalypse” fic, with confessions and kisses and the blending of essences. Proposes that marriage didn’t start as a human concept, but is merely the human interpretation of something much bigger and more meaningful. (Rated T for tears and cuddles, 4k)
Don’t let the simple description fool you, this is a wonderful exploration of both characters as they travel and experience life together – and also the experiences that come with being more human than any demon or angel ever has been before. This is wonderfully domestic, with a relationship solidly established and set almost a decade after the apocalypse. (Rated T for implications and kisses, 6k)
Anathema thinks she might be possessed, so she turns to the beings she thinks might be able to help her. Unfortunately for her, they have no idea what they’re doing – both about her situation and about each other – but they try to figure it out anyway. There is a sequel being worked on that I’m very excited about! (Rated T for demonic screeching and threat of holy water, 10k)
Adam bent reality to make the angel a new body, but this one has never experienced, well, anything – and it’s a little overwhelming. He and Crowley are going to have to break it in one “new” thing at a time. Going on holiday and traveling in an established relationship. Fantastic descriptions of supernatural senses and sensations. (Rated M for implications and foreplay, 8k)
Heavy O’Doeuvres:
Short but sweet, and with some delightful bits of banter and flirting, Aziraphale and Crowley find themselves having a small honeymoon the night of the not-pocalypse – with a hotel and champagne and everything else included. (Rated E for explicit, 2k)
An AU in which Crowley is human, and every reincarnation of him and the angel Aziraphale are drawn together again and again, falling in love and falling apart in a hundred different lifetimes. Aziraphale is very attached to Crowley’s artistic human soul, which never seems to be up to any good, and it isn’t until the world is nearly ending that they both discover the truth. (Rated E for explicit, 8k)
More and more often, Crowley is finding his day rudely interrupted by humans successfully summoning a demon. Eventually he and his angel figure out that heaven and hell are still pissed about the whole botched execution thing, so this is their petty punishment. Crowley hates being the damsel in distress all the time, but at least the situations help him and the angel figure some stuff out. (Rated E for explicit, but you can also skip the last chapter since it’s not plot-important, 10k)
After the not-pocalypse, an angel and a demon are given an ultimatum. Continue working for heaven and hell, or give up their powers and live like humans, albeit immortally. They decide to take a holiday in Scotland to get used to their new normal. Adjusting is difficult, but they belong with each other even more than they realize. A slowburn get-together story where they come to terms with their feelings for one another. (Rated E for explicit, but it’s very tender. 27k)
