There are now over 7 billion people in this world, over 6 continents, nearly 200 countries and speaking 6500 languages. I sometimes wonder what people are doing at the exact moment somewhere across the world. Some will be working, to provide food for there families in either a developed or developing country. Some will be in school, and sitting in those classrooms are our future; our doctors, our politicians, our lawyers, our bakers. Some will be grieving after the loss of a loved one. Some will be rejoicing in the fact that they are bringing a new life form into this world. Others are merely sleeping, some to sweet dreams and others to the nightmares of tomorrow. People are writing, talking, sneezing, coughing, peeing, eating, drinking, thinking, pondering, fishing, working, gazing, crying, smiling. The possibilities are endless as to how many possible things those 7 billion people around the world are doing. Knowing that someone is just about to wake up as you are just about to go to sleep, and wondering how it is possible for people around the world to have different sleep patterns as you, has always puzzled me. Thinking about the world puts your life in perspective; you are one of those 7 billion people, living on one of the six continents, on one of nearly 200 countries, and speaking some of the 6500 languages around the world makes you, special.
