Eastern Sierra Hike and Fly Sprint Race
Wasn’t in the eastern Sierra due to wind direction but you get to look at the Sierra from the Inyos which is pretty great too.
Can’t believe the athleticism from these participants. It was a steep hike up with a difficult flight. It took some waiting up at the top before conditions were launchable. Some choose to run down and to the finish line while others waited and got to fly. The distance from each of the points totaled about 20 miles. Super fun to watch! Hopefully I’ll be one of the participants next year.
