Black Sabbath Rock Walk Hall of Fame Induction (1992)
Two of us being lovely Even if we’re old and grey
—
Cause you’re my babe Yes, you’re my love Oh, boy, I’m just a Jeepster for your love
—
Is it right or wrong Try to find a place We can all belong? Be as one Try to get on by If we unify? We should really try...
Black Sabbath, 1978
Some of my favorite current Iommer (Tony and Geezer) photos...
How do i start this? I just wanna talk about these lovely granpas, that’s all. (Didn’t know about this term until @valentinechang recently told me, btw.)
For starters, just to be clear who’s who…left: Tony Iommi the riff lord. the heart of the band. right: Geezer Butler the crazy bassist with some unbelievable fingering skills. ;-) also he wrote your favorite Sabbath lyrics.
Sure they have some really cool marvelous pics from photo sessions, but personally i just like these casual snaps.
When you’re still on duty but your friend is now off so Tony :D Geezer :l
Of course, they are best when they’re on stage, connected with music.
That moment when the band members look and smile at each other on stage is absolutely precious. Moment to cherish! Beautiful and breathtaking.
Tony is just really happy to be with his mate! Look how happy!
No! Really! Reaalllly happy!!
Touching Geezer’s nose is Tony’s favorite hobby, i’ve heard.
Tony’s hand of doom gently blessing geezer’s chin…
Together these brummies have formed successful musical partnership, but thanks to 5 decades of friendship!
Now, I’ll end with this one. Look at this. Really sweet! I adore them so much. If you actually read this so far, thank you and have a cup of Sabbath!

“Geezer and myself have always been really close. Not only as friends, but in playing, you know, we bounce off each other.”
“It's almost psychic in some ways — Both just lock on. It's only like that when I'm playing with Tony. Like, I play with other people, I just...It's just not the same feeling. It's just the feeling that Tony exudes. Sort of gets into me soul. The kind of thing comes out of my soul is between me playing. I'm nowhere near as good on bass when I'm playing with anybody else, but he just brings it out of me. There's nobody else like him.”
