Apptober Plans
It’s that time of year again, when the leaves change color, the air gets colder, and us coding nerds curl up with some new project to work on and post about for a month.
In previous years I’ve attempted to make games using Unity, but I always chose things that were too large to complete in a month on top of work and other life things.
I considered doing another game this year, (an even smaller project that I could possibly finish) but after talking with @delightedcrow we are considering collaborating on an open source project together!
So we are looking to contribute to Habitica, specifically the Habitica iOS app since ‘Crow has experience working with iOS and it is an app that we both use. There are a handful of tickets that they have opened to the community, and it sounds like a fun way to get involved in open source development, and once we finish one ticket we can choose a new one to work on.
I’ll be posting daily on my perspective of the process, and commentary on any insights or issues we run into along the way.
