has anyone used ios imovie before and experienced the glitch where, after ages editing and everything going fine, the audios will suddenly move in random places along the timeline and your edited clips that you shortened and all that extend and go back to normal length? if that makes sense? basically the whole thing ruins itself.
it happens to both me and my sister and we thought it was just our phones but we recently got new ones and it’s the exact same. there’s nothing online about it that we can see. editing is a huge hobby of mine and i don’t know what other program to use so any help would be HUGELY appreciated.<3
My mom wanted to set a reminder to go off on her phone every day at 8 am, so I set one, but it never went off. I go to her reminders app (just the default iPhone one) and the reminder is there but there’s no time set for it. I keep re entering the time but it keeps resetting. Anyone know of a solution?
I found out today that at least 3 of my audiobooks from Apple Books are no longer available in the virtual bookstore, so if I ever uninstall them I’ll lose them forever, and they were like $25 each
So like if anyone could tell me how the fuck to rip audiobook files from Apple Books so I can put them on a hard drive compatible with Windows that’d be great
I asked on r/iOS a little while ago — bc I feared this exact thing happening — and I was told it’s only possible if I have a Mac, which I don’t and won’t for the foreseeable future
heyo IOS 14 or iPhone 12 users… when you tap on tumblr notifs, does it actually take you to the post/user it’s notifying you about or does it just open the main dashboard page? because for me it’s just been opening the dash and it’s super annoying
help is appreciated bc I can’t find anything online about it ahhhh :')
Has anyone’s device done this or went through it before? (iOS only)
Both, my iPod 4 and iPod 5 did this. My iPod 4 crashed and lost everything and my iPod 5 frequently shows the signs of crashing. I added a Keep Reading thing on this post because long posts can crash the Tumblr app.
Why does your device do that?
It comes from your device having excessively low storage, 0 bytes, for over a long period of time and you don’t manage it. Low storage can stress your device and/or make your device’s battery life shorter.
It causes:
built-in apps to lag and crash when they’re actually not supposed to.
some apps to malfunction, such as Twitter pictures/videos not loading correctly, Pic Collage not allowing pictures to load when they’re fully loaded, etc.
photos on the Photos app to either not save or show up as a gray image and deleting photos crashes the Photos app.
If you don’t do anything to fix it:
Your device can suddenly enter DFU mode/hard reset because the extremely low storage stressed your device. If you have a your power and/or home button stuck, you’re pretty much screwed because you have to wait until your devices dies and show the Connect to iTunes screen. If your device has working buttons, follow the procedures of exiting DFU mode/hard reset, which can be found online.
Your iTunes must be up-to-date in order to restore your device.
If you didn’t back up your device recently, you’ll have to start clean.
What to do to avoid DFU Mode/Hard Reset:
If you have a lot of pictures on your iPhone/iPad/iPod, try deleting some so your storage can increase.
Delete apps and get them back if they are using more storage than it should. For example, if your Tumblr app is using 82.0 MB when your documents and data is using 36.7 MB, delete it and get it back.
IF YOUR DEVICE SAYS “STORAGE ALMOST FULL,” PLEASE MANAGE YOUR STORAGE IMMEDIATELY.
So my wallet was stolen and i had to deactivate all of my cards and such, but now the app store on my ipod wont let me update my apps without a card on the account?? Im on 8.0.2 and im wondering if anyone knows a way to bypass this?
Seems to be legit. Some (not all) of the latency is alleviated. Gets better as it gets used so it’s possible a caching or memory issue with the initial consumer release of iOS 8 could have been the culprit.
For the record, I did not have any latency, caching or memory issues in any beta of iOS 8 across the 4 devices (iPads, iPhones) I tested.
This release is not as snappy as the GM I was working…
