It rained last night and the air smells wonderful & the streets have been washed clean. The island feels as if it's been leached of colour. Once I get ready, I should go out & walk around the village to breathe in the fresh air. Maybe this is a good day to walk up to Uli's house, I'll see how I feel. If there's heavy rain to come it wouldn't be a good idea. It's interesting to see how much weather conditions influence our daily life on the island. Unlike when I'm in a city, here I feel far closer to nature & under its control.
