1)  The first day in spring when it’s finally warm enough to go outside without a coat, even if there’s still traces of snow on the ground.

2) Playing a song on the piano, and getting that ridiculous section you’ve practiced a million times to finally sound good.

3) When someone’s face lights up when they see you, and the first thought you have is “what the hell did I do to deserve this?” but realizing they don’t have a particular reason for that smile, except that they saw you.

4) The first bite of your favorite dessert, especially when you haven’t tasted it in a really long time.

5) Sleep.
