#IPAweek continued with yesterday's release of #StokeswoodsNeonWhite! This incredible beer balances the inviting, spicy character of a Belgian White Ale with the hop character of a West Coast IPA and a sneaky high ABV (7.6%). Coriander, orange peel, and wheat paired with a lively Belgian yeast strain gives this beer a familiar and refreshing summer appeal. Amarillo and Columbus hops then bring out a citrusy and earthy character classically featured in traditional American IPAs. The resultant flavor combination is a delightful and complex hot weather treat for wheat beer lovers and hop heads alike. This beer was brewed to celebrate Brendan's favorite indie dance rock band, @stokeswood! These guys have been an artistic inspiration and a case study in the pursuit of lofty goals. They're also talented artists and musical visionaries who have found a way to blend folk, rock, and EDM into a unique fusion that drives the feet and the soul. The release schedule is as follows: 8/9: Drake's Proper (English IPA w/ Citra & Mosaic) - National Homebrew Competition regional gold medal winner and TRBC GABF Pro-Am entry brewed with original recipe designer and homebrewer Sean Cumbie 8/11: Stokeswood's Neon White (White IPA w/ Amarillo & Columbus) - A spiced Belgian wheat IPA generously hopped in the style of a West Coast IPA and brewed for release in conjunction with our Artist Fair to celebrate Brendan's favorite indie dance rock band: Stokeswood. All purchases include a download link for their single "Neon White" 8/15: Haze Babe (NEIPA w/ Azacca, Motueka & Wakatu) - Brewed for exclusive first release in the tap room and at Downtown Crown Wine & Beer only.
