2. a compelling argument for why your fave would never top or bottom: omg im not even sure i can think of a character whom I think would *never* switch. the only character i think i even feel strongly about at all is snape, who i think is a bottom because he fundamentally wants to submit to someone so badly and have someone else take over as his moral compass, because I think his imposing character is constructed and i think he would want to dismantle it in a moment of intimacy, because I see him as wanting to devour, because if the eye is penetrating then you know what it means to long to be seen....

9. worst part of canon: star wars legends specifically because it exists more or less apart from the films in my mind, but leia naming her son anakin has never sat right with me. also, I don't care for how jacen's fall is handled

23. ship you've unwillingly come around to: im not going to say unwilling because I stay true to myself! and ive never particularly been opposed to this personally but I used to run in crowds that would KILL you for master/padawan ships and now i think frankly that obikin isn't a ship it's a narrative structure

i'm not sure if this is a super unpopular opinion, but i prefer understated, perhaps at times more minimalistic acting over highly emotional, super expressive acting. obviously, it all depends on the film and what exactly the aim here is, and nothing can be said against a well timed breakdown or comedic histrionics, but often enough i find myself particularly moved when an actor or actress plays on a somewhat quieter and measured register. it's a contemporary trend i actually enjoy!
