Review! Ipsy Glam Bag April 2017

(in case you missed it - please see my previous post for pictures of what was inside my glam bag/what I’m reviewing here!)

Glamour Dolls x Lisa Frank Angle Blush Brush - 5/5 **First impressions: **Really? I did request an item for my glam bag in April, but this wasn’t it. I actually felt incredibly excited and lucky to be among the few to receive this apparently rare brush! **After receiving: **I actually love it! Adding brushes to my collection is always a good go to for me, but I am super impressed with the quality of this one. I know this brush isn’t as loved as one would assume (considering how many people were super upset since they didn’t receive it), but I love the quality and I’m happy to add this to my collection... I’m also thankful for my trip down memory lane! 

Hanalei Aloe Soothing Gel - 3/5 First impressions: Is this some joke about me being pale? You know, sunburns and all.. **After receiving: **I’m glad it’s a small sample. I honestly forgot I even had it until this. I’m not a fan of the way it makes my skin feel, but I can see how it could be a good primer.

Tony Moly Liptone Lipcare Stick in Rose Blossom - 5/5 First impressions: Yay, over-hyped lip balm! Joy! I don’t even like this stuff. After receiving: I’ll be honest, I rated this stuff WAY too low. Originally, I gave it a 3/5.. but now that I’ve had it for longer, I’ve fallen in love. Which is evident by the fact that I find myself reaching for it multiple times in one day! The smell is a little overpoweing at first, but it definitely grows on you! Also, the feeling the liptone leaves on your lips is 200% phenomenal.

Ciate London Mini Bamboo Bronzer in Star Island - 3/5 First impressions: How do I use bronzer? I’m new to this. lol After receiving: (and learning how to use - lol), I actually like it. I’m not IN LOVE with it - I’ve found bronzers I like more... this one seems to be seriously lacking some pigmentation in it, but if I spray my brush with a setting spray first it works just fine! 

Meg. Twin Nail Polish in Lovey Dovey - 3/5 First impressions: I WANT THIS. This was my requested item After receiving: Kinda underwhelming, honestly. I like the product and the color... but it chipped really easily, which I didn’t love.
