I'm gonna need yall to read Portrait of a Thief by Grace D. Li for Irene Chen and Alex Huang. I read it because I saw this tweet

BUT THEN I WAS PLEASANTLY SURPRISED WITH SAPPHICS

I was like, "I hope Irene's gay" AND TURNS OUT SHE IS, IN FACT, GAY and I was like, "wait are they????" AND THEY ARE INDEED

Every time Alex and Irene appeared together, I was losing my mind and punching the air and shit. The tension was so delicious!!! I love haters to lovers trope so much actually <3-<3

If it's not obvious enough, they're definitely my favorite part of the book <3

Personally, the book in general was pretty enjoyable. I heard it's getting a Netflix adaptation which makes me wanna eat my furniture /pos because that means I'm gonna see Alex and Irene on my screen but also kinda nervous because it's Netflix and they tend to fuck things up BUT I'M HOPING FOR THE BEST
