This weekend, we needed to take our baby with us on a trip. She normally cries a lot in the carrier, so we decided to give the harness and leash a try.

She loved it!  She sat in the passenger’s lap the entire time, purring.  I had to take her to the vet after we got back (annual shots) and while she got nervous once we were at the vet’s, she still did remarkably well with everything.  Now she goes over to the front door and whines at us until we put the harness on and take her outside.  Might have to take a trip to the park soon!

(picture is when my spouse had to go inside to get something at the gas station and left the two of us in the car with the motor running so we’d have air conditioning since pets weren’t allowed inside - I let her over into the driver’s seat for a bit to stretch her legs)
