addicted to men with earrings
Gonna be real I feel like I need an evil megacorporation in iridescent world just to stress how much I hate capitalism. Luckily I already have a way that would work in canon.
doodle for @tadpoletv of their wonderful boy, Meridian, for a lil Christmas gift! Your OCs are amazing and so are you!!

OOOOOUGH okay I’m gonna talk about,,,, Chariot bc I’ve been thinking about him
I feel like you could probably write on Chariot’s skin with a dry erase marker and then wipe it off like a whiteboard. for context in case I didn’t make this clear: his outer layer is hard like some sort of armor. has the texture of porcelain. if you ask me how this works and how he fuckin has expressions and shit I’m just gonna say alchemy ok. don’t worry about it.
speaking of, he doesn’t normally need to eat (and can’t taste or digest most things anyways), but he heals cracks in his outer layer by eating Forbidden Crunchies (rocks, crystals, ceramics, etc)
cries during movies, and is not subtle about it. the movie doesn’t even have to be remotely good. cries a lot in general tbh.
when he goes to sleep, it’s basically just shutting himself down and putting a timer on it. he wakes up at 7am exactly every day and everyone is pissed because this fucker is LOUD!! negative stealth modifier
he is aggressively claustrophobic, which is why he can’t sleep in the capsule beds in the ship.
his family name, Matahari, means “sun,” or, literally “eye of day.” taken from the person who initially created the constructs. it would technically be all of their surnames, but he’s the only one who really calls himself that afaik
Chariot saw a monkey one (1) time and called it a homunculus and literally no one can convince him otherwise now
Multiples of 6 - for Ivre >:)c
6. Does your character have recurring themes in their dreams?
Yes! Well, under... interesting circumstances, though. After The Incident(s), Ivre starts visiting Light in the Overworld while sleeping instead. She is lucid during the visits and remembers them. I’m not sure if this is something that happens every night, though, or if she still dreams normally sometimes. If the latter is true, I don’t think she’s ever been the type to remember her (normal) dreams very well.
12. In what situation was your character the most calm they’ve ever been?
For some reason I keep thinking of this as a question of “calmest they’ve been during a serious/intense situation” even though I know it just means, like, in general lol. Ivre isn’t a very calm person in general, though in a rowdy way rather than an anxious way. I’d say she’s probably calmest while home alone, since she has no one to bother and no situations to get into other than vibing in the house. I will also note that she was shockingly calm about the whole “might get aether side effects” thing once she learns it’s not gonna kill her.
18. Is your character more likely to admire wisdom, or ambition in others?
Wisdom. It’s a trait that she doesn’t really see in herself (how much wisdom she actually has is up for debate). Ivre doesn‘t think of herself as particularly smart or philosophical. I think she’d be more impressed seeing that in someone, since she hasn’t been exposed to much intellectual discourse and usually runs off of impulse. Nothing wrong with ambition, either but she knows that too much of it can make people a little... wacky sometimes.
24. How quick is your character to trust someone else?
Ivre considers herself a pretty good judge of character, so she’ll trust you pretty quickly unless she senses a reason not to. Otherwise, good luck. In that case it’s less a matter of time and moreso just whenever you do something to earn her trust.
30. What does your character find repulsive or disgusting?
I could say something about, like, considering oppression and stuff disgusting or something here, but that’s something that most decent people would hate. For actual physical stuff, Ivre’s standards are... low. She’s kinda gross. I mean, once you eat wild insects, dig through the trash, and save your own lost, bloody teeth to make stuff out of them you have to embrace the fact that maybe you’re kinda gross. But, there are a few creatures that she finds pretty appalling. Ivre sees a horse for the first time in her mid-20s and considers it a wretched beast.
36. How does your character behave around people they dislike?
Less talkative, more easily irritated. Might be more legitimately malicious than usual, but she isn’t usually one to initiate Drama(tm). Under specific circumstances she might try to challenge them to a duel.
42. Has your character ever had a parental figure who was not related to them?
Nope. I guess you could maybe argue that Light counts, but Ivre’s already 20-something by the time she meets her and I wouldn’t really consider their relationship “parental.”
9 & 10 for Meridian!
9. Do their abilities (if they have any) affect their emotions? Or the other way around.
They definitely are kind of freaked out and uncomfortable about their powers at first, but he eventually gets used to them enough to use them very casually. As for the other way around, it doesn’t usually happen unconsciously at least. Like, he’d have to at least think about doing it for anything to happen. I mean, they might be more aggressive with them while angry and stuff, but the powers can’t really act on their own in response y’know.
10. If they’re the main character, do they realise this, or do they consider themselves unimportant?
answered here!
🖊 for Zee! :D
yesssss okay,,
as the designated driver (designated pilot?) she always chooses the music everyone listens to, and it’s always either 80s-style pop or synthwave.
speaking of, she herself plays the theremin! not only is she the only one in the gang who can fly the ship, she’s also the only one with any polished musical skill.
one of her eyes is a little lighter in color than the other, and her vision is worse in that one. she wears one contact. it was actually the result of a little alchemy accident when she first joined the guild
she’s trans!! but idk what her sexuality is lol
goats are her favorite animal and she wants one! not gonna lie, she doesn’t totallyyyy get the lizards and frogs thing in the east, but she doesn’t mind them.
Zee and Adriet have known each other for about a year by the time the story starts. Adriet was part of the guild first, but only by few months. They initially forged a friendship based on how fucking ambitious and annoying both of them can be... i.e., neither of them would shut the fuck up and chill, but it was, like, reciprocated this time.
