Never had it crossed Feng’s mind that she might end up getting bored of trials.
Sure, they weren’t exactly fun, but it wasn’t like she didn’t have her hands full. Fixing generators while on the run from a blood-thirsty killer wasn’t something that was supposed to get ‘old’ or less scary. But, much to the over-active gamer’s displeasure, it had.
That’s why she found herself straying from the generator she’d been working on, surrounded by the halls of Lery’s Memorial Institute. The machine was only half-way finished when she decided that she was done with it. When generators got boring, she often turned to the other half of these trials; keeping the murder-person busy. Though she hadn’t seen a sign of him since she came in, other than distant screams and the barest hints of a heart beat.
Heading down a hall, she recognized the entrance to what she was pretty sure was the Doctor’s ‘office’, a substitute for the killer shack. There was a pallet right outside the door of it, Feng eyeing it as she thought about making some noise to grab the Killer’s attention. She stopped short when she glanced into the office, spotting a book-covered desk. Deciding the killer could wait, she slipped into the room soundlessly, gingerly picking a book off the top of the pile.
