iRig Pro, une interface MIDI qui tient dans la poche [iGen]

L'iRig Pro, est en quelque sorte issu de la fusion de l'iRig MIDI et de l'iRig HD : grâce à son entrée combinée XLR/jack 2,5 mm, il permet de relier guitares, micros XLR et contrôleurs MIDI à un appareil iOS. Le tout dans un format très compact puisqu'il mesure 10 cm sur 3 cm pour 40 grammes.

L'iRig Pro est par ailleurs doté d'un bouton de contrôle du gain et d'une alimentation fantôme 48V (fournie par une pile 9V, sans doute associée à un convertisseur élévateur de tension). IK Multimedia vante la qualité de son convertisseur analogique-numérique 24-bit/44,1 ou 48 kHz, mais les produits iRig sont généralement un cran en-dessous de leurs équivalents Apogee.

IK se distingue néanmoins en fournissant de nombreux accessoires : la boîte de l'iRig Pro inclue ainsi un câble Lightning, un câble 30 broches et un câble USB, un câble jack 2,5 mm vers MIDI et une pile 9V. L'iRig Pro est proposé à 119,99 €.
