Do you guys have some recs?
I have been working on expanding my fic recs blog by reading at least eight fics/month. I have like...90 masterlists and fanfics saved between here and AO3 and I’m a little overwhelmed, plus a lot of writers have changed blogs or left, etc. But my point is...
I’d love to hear some recommendations from you guys, so I’ve opened my inbox and submissions up at @irisficrecs in the hopes of expanding my horizons.
Here’s what I’m looking for (as of June 2019):
Fanfics from any k-pop fandoms (reader-insert, member x OC, and member x member are all welcome) - the last time I asked for recs, I got about 97% BTS. I’d really like to read for other groups too--ANY GROUP! There are no fanwars in my house, but I will give bonus points if you can find a top-shelf girl group fic.
Length: oneshots or multi-chapter fics (please no drabbles or reactions)
Genres I prefer reading: angst, smut, dark & gritty, story-rich, fantasy, adult themes (with characters who are of legal age), violence, dystopia, sci-fi, or any kind of story that may change my perspective on something. I’d also love to read any fic you feel has made your life *chef’s kiss* complete. What’s that fic you’ve been getting off to every other week for two years?
Triggers: NONE! If you’re thinking, “Ahh....this might be offensive or borderline triggering to some people,” then share it! I like envelope-pushers who tag their warnings well.
