performed by Carol Thompson
Fact #161: Though Kate is proud of her Irish heritage, at times, Kate wishes she didn’t have the ability to get a sunburn from a desk lamp.
Past Life Regression
So, I’ve been tapping into my past lives through meditation lately and they have come to me in blips. Though it is only from one life I have seen so far, and as such I am not sure if it is my most current or not. I am assuming no, but I am assuming it is an important one for it has come to me twice in dreams after my meditation seeking it. I went into this looking for someone and came out of it with a sense of peace.
I apparently was female in this life, and based on the look of my clothes as well as those of others that appeared it was around 800-900 AD. I distinctly remember when it first came to me woods, darkness, a sky filled with stars, and running from something. It wasn’t until later in the meditation that I realized what I was running from. I focused on my details - my hair was light, almost a gingery light blonde. My skin was very light and freckled heavily. I was thin, and tall. I was in what was either a night gown or a dress for it was plain white and i couldn’t see any other details.
The next thing was what was chasing me. It was either a large dog, or a wolf, for I fell and in the next moment it had latched onto my shoulder and started tearing at it. I heard my voice screaming, and the sound of others far off in surprisingly a language that I know - Gaelic. I’m assuming I spent either my previous life or this life in Ireland, or near it at least, which isn’t surprising considering my family and our lineage. My family is from Donegal, Ireland.
There were flashes after this point of the me then walking in a field in what looked to be summer, running through miles of flowers. Then everything went black for a moment and what I next found was daylight, fog, and bodies all over a large clearing or field. It appeared to be the same field. Blood everywhere. I seemed to be the only one alive in the midst of all of this chaos, and it was a strange thing indeed for my shoulder was soaked in blood.
A man approached and this is where I found the pair of eyes i came into this meditative state looking for. Just as ice blue and seemingly emotionless. A wolf was near him, and he was dressed in furs and silver ornaments. His beard was long, and his hair pulled high appeared to be either dreaded or braided. He seemed perplexed, and dare I say almost astonished that I sat staring back at him. Another man came, hair light and cropped short to his head; he was dressed the same. They appeared to be two Danes
They spoke in a language I did not understand, but I understood one thing in the eyes that never left me. Concern, and intrigue. I don’t know if they were the ones to attack me, or if they simply happened upon what looked to be my kinsfolk, or at least those whom lived near me for I appeared to be worried over their deaths. At any rate the calm looking one, the one with the eyes, ended up coming to me and moving my hand to check my wounds.
He spoke something, but I don’t know what.
I’ve had flashes here and there of this same man, and myself but the details are foggy for I was sleeping and unable to recall much of them. I recall a creature at one point, barred and me looking at it as if I knew it. It was pitch black and had no distinguishing figures save for a large grinning mouth. In the end it could have been the same creature that attacked me only in a changed form.
I’ve tried to go into another meditative state to get more clarification but today that has been completely fruitless. I’ll blame it on me having a wee cold.
At any rate, I know where I know you from now. That’s helpful.
Have any of you had any regressions like this or have any advice?
