Me and Aaid were screaming about this over skype just before I left and so, with the power of queue and quick typing, I produce this on a thursday ahaha.
Some more Irrishcest, apologising again for the sheer amount I am spewing out ahaha. So here is some Sean/Niamh for you guys, with past Sean/Arthur
He was sure she was going to leave him, he's not sure why but it was a niggling feeling he had in the it of his stomach that he's had for a while and the distance that had been growing just made the fear and suspicion worse.
So he attempted romance.
She's going to hate it, he can tell alreay. It's not so much 5 star restaurant bar his kitchen and dinning room and his dogs rolling about and around his feet, as if trying to make him trip up.
His hands are shaking a little, lighting the candles on the table and wincing a little as he burns his fingers, smiling a little as he knew she'd laugh at that and realising it would probably have ruined the mood.
If he could actually produce a mood.
He sets the meal down, locking his dogs in the backgarden and being silently thankful that it wasn't pissing it down for once. Sean jumps a little at the knock on the door, quickly pouring a glass of wine each with shaking hands and swearing under his breath as he gets some on the table cloth, on his side thnakfully, before going to the door.
She just raises a brow at him in the suit, he'd actually attempted with it despite how strangling the tie felt, and he just stares at her in the dress because fuck. She's beautiful.
"So, where is our destination?" He can't speak, words jamming in his throat so he just points behind him with his thumb and she just sighs, shaking her head. "If I had known, I wouldn't have bothered."
He can't tell if Niamh means wiht the date or dressing up.
"W-Wait!" He puts his hands over her eyes before they get to the dinning room door, feeling nervous about the whole thing to the point he can't get words out right.
"Sean?! Sean what are you-" She stops talking as he removes his hands from her eyes, showing the dining table and oh, oh god. "...doing...."
"S-surprise?"
He remembered her favourite food, a sip of the wine tells her its her favourite, the one that Sean hates, and she pretends to not notice the little wine stain by Sean's untouched glass.
"I can't believe you remembered....or that Arthur was actually right."
Sean pauses then, giving her a look and paling a little, mouth full of steak and looking half like a bemused hamster. What had Arthur told her? Was it bad? oh fuck, she was definately going to leave him now.
She seems to sense the panic because she laughs, trying to hide the fact she is before looking at him and starting again. "He said you had random moments of being great at romance, I thought he was pulling my leg."
Oh...maybe she wasn't going to then.
"And, because you've done all this for me, why don't I do something for you?"
He doesn't get to ask what she means because she's up and moving round to him, pulling his chiar out a little and sitting on his lap and kissing him, fingers fiddling with his black hair
Arms around her waist, he smiles into the kiss before pausing as her hands move down to his collar. "Shall we move this upstairs?"
