The Manannán mac Lir appliqué tapestry is coming along super well. I have chosen to stitch the waves in thread that matches the fabric. Which I genetically matchy matchy. *coughs*. Anyway here is a video of the front and back 😁. . . #accessibility [Video Description. The video pans down the Manannán mac Lir tapestry and you can see that parts of it are now satin stitched in black thread. When you get to the bottom you can see the details on the boat in black and the light aqua and white stitching for the two rows of waves. These look pretty good. Then the video continues to the back of the tapestry where you can see black stitching on a cream background, of the boat and statue of Manannán mac Lir. I have his hair and beard left to do as well as the crescent moon and a seagul silhouette. ] . #manannánmaclir #irishseagod #irishfolklore #pagan #celtic #magic #druids #sacredart #magicalart #pollylindartist https://www.instagram.com/p/B4I1kVBHtJ8/?igshid=svmx6a0doly6
