Watching the Legend of Korra Season 1 Finale...
All the feels...
First of all, I would like to point out a few things:
1. Seriously, why did Korra's air bending just show up at a time of need when she can't even bend a small puff of air from the beginning? From desperation maybe?
2. Eh~ I thought Korra was going to go Avatar state when she sees Amon almost taking away Mako's bending but no~ she gets to air bend instead.
3. Sometimes I don't like the Makorra feels...
4. Amon's lieutenant... I feel bad for that guy as well. He was totally blinded but he was dedicated to the cause, when he knew that Amon was a bender he didn't think twice in attacking him. Which means he is more dedicated to the cause than to Amon.
4. Hmmm.. there should be more General Iroh kicking everbody else's butts scenes. (I'm shipping General Iroh with Asami.. woot woot~! hahaha.. #IROMI ... say it with meh!)
4. I feel sad for Asami, she deserves better. Tsk... I mean her father went all coconuts and Mako just went gaga over Korra.
5. While they were at prison, why didn't General Iroh just burn the rope (maybe because their hands were tied at the back and he'd fry Bolin??) and then melt the metal as well. Seriously, Naga has kicked more asses and mechs than Bolin did. Why? (Though I adore Naga) More appreciation for Bolin please.
6. Tarloc and Noatak... so sad... It's just too sad their family got broken apart due to hate, lust for power and a psychotic father. tsk tsk tsk... and yeah, I think Noatak is hawt. I think he's a great villian. Just hoping they didn't die (but I think they'd be better off that way).
7. I'm so happy Lin got her bending back!!!! That was one of the best moments in the show! Go LIN!! #TEAM LIN
8. The ending was... hmmm... Aang! You were much mature than Korra was at your age (well, maybe it's because of the war) so stop spoonfeeding her! Let her work her way to the Avatar state! Just...
9. Anyways, all the mushiness later on was too ... IDK... I am not feeling the Makorra feels though I normally ship them. Hell, looking at Mako throwing himself at Korra's feet and confessing... then friendzoned... then got accepted. I don't think Korra's really mature enough, I mean she gets all confused with her emotions and stuff.
10. Overall, it was a nice, fluffy, happy ending. (Though seriously, I liked the ALOA story line better, love the characters and how they portray bending as well). I like LOK, hope it gets better in the second season.
I'm so pumped for book 2 of Korra... MORE SHIPS
I can see Iroh and Asami together, and with every word I type I feel like it's meant to be omg slowly shipping it... SO NON CANON AGH IDGAF. FASDKGHLASJ JFIO ASAMOH? IROMI? KASJDFKJAI IAS I SHIP IT OMG I SHIP ITTTTTTTTTTTTTTT!!!! I WANT IT TO BE CANON SO BAAAAAAAD! BUT ALSO ASAMI AND BOLIN, THEY'RE BOTH DESPERATELY ALONE AKSJGKLA AAAAAAAAH. WHAT TO SHIP!!
